Looking to see if we can afford a $570K house in a suburb of DFW. Our gross HHI is ~$245K and our net monthly income is ~$13K (after funding 403b, maxing 401k, and maxing roth ira).
We do have a 2 year toddler and pay about $1.2K a month for daycare. Other than that, the only debt we have is a monthly car payment for about $375 each month. We don't really eat out and spend about $800-$1000 on groceries per month.
It's looking like our mortgage payment at 6.87% interest rate with 5% down is going to be around $5.5K per month (including property taxes, HOI, PMI, and estimated utilities).
Can we afford this house? Especially if we plan on having another child in the next 2 years?

I have this fear constantly it calms down when i am doing hard physical stuff like lifting heavy. I did bjj at that time felt even better because i knew that i am capable to fuck up people as well does not matter how big they are, now that i am taking a break to build more muscle, that fear comes back even when i am talking to people i imagine conflict and violence altercation sparing helps a lot because fear was just an illusion that makes u freeze after that u figure out that u are more capable than u think. For me i do think that martial arts is the best solution and i am planning to go back.
If you have same experience how did u get over it ?

I've had Darkest Dungeon 2 since it's release, have played the game for roughly 100 hours, I also own The Binding Blade DLC (but was never really interested in Musketeer much) and now I'm looking to get Inhuman Bondage too.
Here's the thing though, I haven't played in a long ass time, I quit some time before whatever update brought Leper's Hero Path rework.
I've been looking through the reworks of some of these Paths and Abilities and they have changed quite a lot. It seems like a lot of Abilities move your Heroes around now? Or maybe that's just on my favourite Heroes.
Anyway, basically the title. I have absolutely no clue how to make a team comp after the reworks, they made a lot of the Heroes much more complicated. Is there maybe a place I can go for team comp ideas like you can find for builds in League of Legends or Dota2? Maybe a YouTube guide or someone making videos on this?

How slow burn is too slow for you? do you get bored with the romance by the end if it's more or less resolved except for the fantasy world plot?
I'm reading the last book of the Flesh & Fire series and I'm really invested in the story, but some of the sex scenes I'm like yayah, we get it, Nyktos really thinks you're hot, let's move it along. At the same time, I think I'd be so annoyed if I had to wait like 3 or 4 books for the MCs to get it together... Although... I did like the Cruel Prince series..

For context, I have been estranged from my mother for about six years. She is manipulative, lies frequently, and plays the victim to gain pity. My brother and my mom are extremely close, and when I used to live with them, he would often steal my belongings just to throw them away, turn off my heater while I was showering, and even break my things.
Once, when my brother was really angry at me but didn’t know how to take it out on me, my mom told him to throw away my favorite water bottle—I know this because I saw their messages. She has always sided with him and insisted that I respect him simply because he is older than me and that I should always give in to him. (For context, I grew up in an Asian household.) My mom likes to talk crap about me in front of him because he feels good when my mom “hates” me (she told me this- but she said of course she doesn’t believe in the crap she made up). They laughed about my unemployment right after I graduated, laugh about my job that I took on (I was a research biologist).
Fast forward to today : I am now married and have moved out. My mom constantly asks me where I live and wants to visit, but I’m afraid she will tell my brother, and he will come to disturb me. I don’t trust her, but everyone around me keeps telling me, “She’s your mother. You should let her visit, no matter what you went through.”
So, AITAH for refusing to tell my mom where I live?

Most of my pants are Kuhl brand, that allow for a 1.75” belt.
I most often wear a Tier 1 OWB holster that comes with 1.75” belt clips. I see no reason to buy another holster any time soon.
My current EDC/CCW belt is a 1.5” Kore.
Is there any real benefit in moving to a 1.75” Kore garrison belt for EDC?

I used to just date men and they always pay for our dates even if I insist that I pay for my part especially if we are still in the early stages. I am dating a woman now to see how it goes. For starters I feel like being made a meal ticket and I do not like it. I am the only one who pays for our dates. She does not even make an effort to show that she wants to pay for at least her part. I think she feels like I should be grateful because we are together or something. Looking at rent DVC points for an upcoming Spring Break trip. With as highly regarded as Beach Club seems to be on this subreddit, I find it odd that so many Beach Club options are available in April. My only assumption, which may be wrong, is that those in the know feel like its not worth the $500+ a night price if the pool is closed.
As a first timer WDWer traveling with a 4 and 7 year old, I'd like to know if Beach Club still be worth it if while these renovations occur or should we book elsewhere? I see other good things mentioned like the location but not sure if that alone makes it a winner. Any advice would be appreciated.
