2025.02.02 03:42 comet022 How do I figure out what key my song is in
I’m using BandLab currently (still figuring out GarageBand) and I’m trying to figure out what key my song is in so I can figure out what packs to use. According to past directors, I sing roughly from a high tenor to a low mezzo soprano range (had a slight vocal injury that knocked out what little soprano range I had leftover from puberty). It’s not fully written out yet (needs another verse and a bridge), but it’s primarily focused on my lower range. Unfortunately, the very technical aspects of music theory don’t make a lot of sense to me since I grew up singing by ear in both church and school choir. I know what sounds good, but not necessarily how the sheet music would look. The highest note so far is G4 according to a pitch detector and the lowest is A3 with the most common notes I’ve seen thus far hovering more around b4. I don’t know what other information that I’m able to give that would help, but feel free to ask questions as well because I really want to learn

Looking for an online browser game from the late 2000s to early 2010s in a similar style to those old Jibjab animations or Angela Anaconda, the game was pretty much a clone of something like Moshi Monsters but instead of looking after a monster you uploaded a picture of yourself or someone you knew and take care of some sort of weird robot clone (will come up later) using the picture as a face and might have been on Facebook but definitely had it's own website to host the game.
The main part of the game with you and the robot took place in a tree house and you had to keep up the robot's stats to stop it from "dying" it was a basic 3 stat system that was something like happiness, hungethirst and health. Letting these stats would cause the robot to "die" where it would power down or something like springs and gears would fly out of the head but after some time it would come back and you could keep taking care of it.
The main way of looking after the robot was by playing minigames to keep it happy and make money for food, clothes and decorations but I can't remember being able to actually leave the house or being able to visit other player's homes.

With how restrictive trading in pocket is and how you can't communicate at all what you want to trade for, I'm wondering if folks will maybe folk to reddit or discord to advertise what they're looking for and what they have to trade? So my rescue pup is roughly almost 7 months old but still needs his booster shots before being able to walk on the ground. The only thing is I live on the top floor of my apartment and he’s gotten too heavy (he’s also very wiggly lol) for me to carry him up and down the stairs by myself to take him to the vet. Poor guy is also scared of riding in cars so I’m worried while I’m driving he’s gonna try to get on top of me. Any affordable recommendations on dog backpacks/carriers I can carry him in? He’s a medium sized dog. Thanks!
