Hi! I’m upgrading my suitcase and am hoping to find somewhere to donate my old one. It still works and is in decent shape, but I wanted a hard sided suitcase instead. Does anyone know anywhere I could donate it that isn’t Goodwill or Salvation Army? Thanks in advance!

2025.02.02 04:40 Red_5478 Subreddit Update
Good Day Everyone!
Over the last few months things have settled down since CFB25 Launched. With the football season being over and the countdown to CFB26 beginning, we have been taking a look around to see what else we can do to make the Sub better for everyone.
In that spirit we have seen the recent calls to action by the community to address the numerous pictures of recruits being posted from dynasty mode onto the subreddit. After discussion as a team we are all in agreement on this. While we understand the great feeling of getting that 5 Star Gem in Dyansty, we no longer see the need to share the screen caps of these recruits on the subreddit. In fact upon reflection it is low effort and therefore violates Rule 7 of the subreddit rules we made.
Therefore, as of today, posting pictures of your recruits is officially a Rule 7 Violation of the Subreddit policy, and these posts will be removed going forward.
On behalf of the Mods we thank everyone for continuing to be vocal about their feedback on the subreddit and continuing to make this community great. Feel free to throw any other suggestions in the comments below!
Thanks

2025.02.02 04:40 MysteryMaven2024 Tips for searching email or contacting airlines for flight history?
I’m looking for a specific search terms that I could look in my email for or how I could go about getting my flight history. I have everything that’s been in my Google calendar since 2022 but before then it’s spotty in my email.
Separately, I’ve noticed that I find quite a few flights that I ended up canceling or changing and it’s confusing when I find them in my inbox. Any tips for sorting out that information? Will Flighty get rid of any duplicates if you forward it to them?
TIA!

2025.02.02 04:40 Ok_Win5732 Suggestions for trips to take while young?
Graduating soon and would like to go for an adventure for myself (and by myself) before hopping on the hamster wheel of working. What trip did you take/ wish you took at this point in your life? Any trips that you’ve heard of that would be fun in your mid 20’s? The finances are not a concern at this time (very generous gift from family members who want to cover an adventure for me which I’m incredibly grateful for) and I only have about three weeks to take the trip for from start to finish before my job starts. I have 2-3 months left to plan for it and I am open to any type of trip/ tou cruise/ hike, etc. TIA

2025.02.02 04:40 Low_Bluebird_2541 study link - student allowance
basically guys, i've applied for student allowance and a loan. i did have a part time job but i've had to resign for personal reasons and am on the hunt for a job. on my student allowance application i said that i recieved $300 weekly from my job (i haven't for a while now, but does this mean they'll give me like no allowance? cuz from this it means i'm making money? i'm the sole provider in my family atm but i am making no income due to no job at the moment and no one hiring/rejections. should i call student hubs to update them on my income situation? i'm stressing out guys, because i need to be able to cover weekly costs and WINZ said to take this up with stufylink since i'll be studying full time.

2025.02.02 04:40 Eastern_Roof4140 Is there a stigma against working retail long term?
Hey guys, i’m 18 years old and have been working at Costco pretty much since I first turned 18 and was able to. Anytime i’ve ever made a post asking if it was worth it to climb through the ranks of management with Costco because the pay is good and the benefits are good, there is always people in the comments telling me “Costco should be a stepping stone job” or “get a real job”. Is this the common way people look at retail jobs?
I don’t know the way I see it is I can make quite good money, get good benefits, plenty of vacation and I don’t need to go into student loan debt because I don’t need a degree. In fact in the 4 years i’d be in school getting a bachelors i’m making money any spending time at the company. By march I should be making 21.50 and when I do my SIT for 6 weeks my hourly rate will be in the 30’s and qualify my to become a supervisor and make that my normal rate.
I don’t care to be “passionate” about my work i’d rather be passionate about my passions, and you can’t tell me these people are all that passionate for something like accounting. I definitely think that retail grocery store manager isn’t the most glamorous title but again a job is a job. One thing that does steer me away from staying with costco and climbing management is the amount of time it does take to get deeper into management. I think I can become a supervisor within 2-4 years and be making $33 an hour I believe and then become a department manager maybe within 10 years? they make around 80-90k. To crack 6 figures base pay it probably would 10-15 years potentially more but I have a strong work ethic and am able to do any job i’ve been given amazingly so I think I could climb fast. If you transfer around it goes faster as well.
Is that general timeframe bad in terms of how quickly you can move up the pay scale? That’s where I get stuck because at a certain point maybe it’s worth it to get a 4 year degree and go into a different industry with more growth potential. One thing I will say is that it’s a steady growth with good benefits and the job security at Costco is VERY good. That is one of my biggest reasons for wanting to stay, I hear of huge layoffs in so many company’s and industry’s and Costco is known to have some of the best job security, just show up on time and don’t steal basically.
What do you guys think? there’s definitely pros and cons, I just want to live a nice comfy life and be able to do the things I want.

2025.02.02 04:40 Optimal_Ad_2736 Questions on being a digital nomad
I am currently going to school and studying instrumentation technology(associates). Some of the jobs that I could possibly get are rotational positions(I.e 14 days work then 14 days off). Do any of you here have experience traveling while on your days off and how that works for you? I also eventually want to get my BSEE so I’m wondering if there are any remote positions for instrumentation engineers or controls engineers?

2025.02.02 04:40 DiscombobulatedSqu1d My Triphala supplement has a fertility warning and I was wondering why?
It's lazy acres, from the American grocery store. The only other ingredients is vegetable cellulose.
ChatGPT just said it could be from toxic heavy metals in the herbs?

2025.02.02 04:40 human4859375 Carrier that doesn't hurt shoulders/traps
Sorry in advance for the long post, but I'm really hoping someone here can offer some good recommendations.
I currently use a Mabe Monarch carrier with my 12 week old and generally find it comfortable, except when baby falls asleep and starts leaning to one side. When that happens I start to get a huge knot in my lower trap/shoulder blade area that makes it hard to continue wearing the carrier for longer than about 20-30 minutes afterwards. I'm trying to figure out if A) there is a way to prevent this so that I can comfortably wear the Mabe carrier for longer periods, or B) if there is a better carrier out there that won't cause this problem to begin with.
I'm open to all types of carriers, not just the structured ones. I've also tried a Solly but it seems more hassle than it's worth to try to get the right fit each time without having to take baby in and out to readjust. Each time I wrap it, it ends up too tight to fit baby and she sits too high up (I have a short torso so if I wrap it around my true waist baby's head ends up at my nose).
Those are the only two I've tried. I feel like maybe a ring sling would be good for us? I've also heard good things about the Wildbird Aerial Buckle Carrier but 1. they're more expensive than the Mabe, and 2. from the pictures I see on their website and social media, it just doesn't look like babies get a deep enough M position for me to be comfortable with. Maybe that's just the way it looks from the outside though.
All in all my first choice would be to make the carrier I already have work so that I don't have to spend anymore money, but I'm open to all suggestions. Thanks for reading if you made it this far.
TL;DR Mabe carrier causes shouldetrap pain, looking for solutions or a better alternative
