A year ago, I would have been so egregiously pissed off at reading this title. I fought for so long to get on t, but I need to just put this out there and hear some folks who’ve been on it longer than me tell me that it’s just part of the process.
I have spent so much fucking time, energy, and money to get where I am right now. I love all the changes! My voice is deeper, I have so much hair, most emotions are a lot easier to manage, and I actually feel okay looking at myself in the mirror.
However, I feel like I look very gender neutral or like the most girl there has ever been to girl. I get gendered correctly by strangers around 30% of the time, depending what I am wearing. I live a southern state and still get “ma’amed” on the daily. This is to the level to which this bothers me fluctuates. I know I shouldn’t care about how others view me, but it’s just a reminder that I don’t look the way that I feel. I feel like I can’t experiment with gender in ways I’d like, until I get father along on T, lest I get misgendered. I’ve had so many people tell me they didn’t want to go out solely on the basis of what’s going on in my pants or lack thereof. I’ve come out to most of my family, I detransitioned in hs, and I have made my life at least 50% harder than it was before. And, I still get “ma’am”?! I’m working out, wearing clothes that make me feel good, and everything else on the planet that I can think of to feel comfortable in my own skin. Then, I see my thighs or my school email (THAT DIDN’T CHANGE, EVEN THOUGH EVERYTHING ELSE FOR MY COLLEGE WAS CHANGED FROM MY DEADNAME TO MY NAME). I just feel that I am in such an in between place, and I fear I will be stuck here forever.

I had my first cataracts surgery last week and they had to dope me up so much I don't even remember it. To be clear, I wasn't nervous at all. I've always been unusually calm about most medical procedures unless I have a very clear and specific reason not to be. I was even cracking jokes when they wheeled me back into the operating room (I asked what the new lens was made out of, and when they said it was made of silicone, I said "Oh, so it's like a tiny, tiny breast implant?!). Everything was cool until they put the last round of drops in my eye. One of the things they put in burned like I had soap in my eye and I just couldn't get my eye open after that when they went to put the surgical drape around my eye. They kept asking me to open my eye and I was trying but it wouldn't open. That's the last thing I remember until I became aware again after the surgery (they apparently cranked the meds to 11 at that point).
I also couldn't keep my eye open when I went to see the doctor the next day. They put some numbing drops in and tried to take a pressure with a hand-held glaucoma meter thing and every time they touched my eyelashes, my eyes slammed shut. From what I can tell, it seems like my eyes might be unusually sensitive because most people don't seem to be able to feel all that after they've put all the drops in, but I can't find anything about it online. All that comes up is post-surgery side effects, which isn't what I'm looking for.
Also if anyone is reading this and you haven't had your surgery yet, please don't worry. Despite having a bit of trouble getting my eye open, I imagine the experience was actually slightly less traumatizing for me than it might be for other people because I literally have no memory of it at all after they had trouble with the drape. It was a moment of frustration and feeling bad for not being able to do what they wanted me to, followed by nothing followed by extreme grogginess when I woke up. I don't even remember the doctor asking anyone to crank up the meds so it wasn't scary at all.

2025.02.02 04:41 OsmosisJonesFanClub Strategy for upcoming trade war?
With Trump slapping tariffs on China, Canada, and Mexico and them likely hitting back, I’m wondering what the game plan is from here. Most of my money is in VOO, and I’m planning on holding for 30-40 years. Is now a good time to buy more with all this uncertainty, or should I just sit tight / sell anything? Curious what others are thinking.
I'm still relatively new to investing, and any advice would be really helpful. Came in at such a complicated time.

- Make Mantle of Majesty reuseable on every Short rest
- Remove Concentration from Mantle of Majesty

Why isn’t it determined by a majority vote? At one point, it was 5 out of 6 in favor. Shouldn’t that have been enough to finalize the decision? If the majority agrees, why prevent it from going through? It’s frustrating when a clear consensus exists, but the system still doesn’t move forward. They really need to change this because it's not fun in the slightlest when the whole team wants to move on, but that one troll keeps holding everyone hostage. This was lame af. 😩

Played for the second time last couple days (short game). I played on initial release and remembered how good of a game it was (kinda) and still had the disc for my ps4. Fast forward 7 ish years give or take and I'm floored. Since the first time I played my life has changed drastically. I am now married and have a 5 year old daughter. I bawled my eyes out at the end and cried many tears throughout the entire playthrough. Such a well written game that kept me on the edge of my seat! I wish I could experience this again and again. ❤️

When I flirted back he seemed surprised by my responses, unexpected that I could be into very sexual stuff. He said we could meet up on vr and see how things could go. It didn't happen so I told 1 very dear friend of mine and another who knew me and Suchy very well that we flirted a bit and it was unexpected. Afterwards I told him that I told some people and told them to keep it a secret he wasn't mad, he said it's fine and I told him he could tell others as well if he wanted. But for the next few days I did try to flirt with him again only for him to give mid comments like "meh" or "that was unexpected" Then not long after he stopped talking to me completely. So I asked if I made him uncomfortable he said yeah so I told him I'll give him space. But yeah I gave him space, then I thought maybe I should just try seeing other guys and to see if I'm still thinking about Suchy, testing myself to see if I had a crush on him. I thought I did, but when I was with the other guys I didn't think of Suchy. And eventually I went to Suchy, confronted him saying we can stop flirting, this arrangement doesn't have to stay u can go ur way and I'll go mine. But he took it in a different way. He thought I was trying to say to him "Hey I'm into you and I want to date or be friend with benefits" But of course I was trying to state my case and say "That's not true and u don't have flirt with me anymore" but he just kept yelling over me until I had enough and said "ok fine then leave" so we left. Eventually I tried to go back into being friends, just friends but he wouldn't invite me to anything. Not games, not events, not even to just hang, mind you before he flirted with me we would hang in the world's by ourselves with no one else around. I even tried texting him on Discord or even Instagram still nothing so I dropped it until today when I requested off him 1 last time. He accepted, but unfriended and/or blocked me after I went afk.
