Hi everyone I'm a 24F diagnosed with endometriosis. I came here because I don't know with who I should talk with. I'm scared because I'm having weird stomach symptoms/bowel symptoms that suddenly became worse in the last months. I will have a colonoscopy and endoscopy in December.
My symptoms are:
- Bad upper abdominal pain(stomach pain). It is a pain very severe, feels like sharp knives and it comes for like 6 seconds and after 6 seconds it comes again. Sometimes it comes for 6 seconds and takes 1 minute to happen again. Sometimes it is relieved by bowel movements that come with it sometimes such as diahrrea but sometimes it takes hours or days to go away (it comes from months to months or weeks to weeks its not everyday) i even have developed fear of eating;
- intense bowel movements with nausea (I noticed fat foods, greasy foods make it worse);
- Sudden nausea (doesn't matter what I eat, I have nausea with the most simple foods);
- heartburn (but only in my throat I don't feel like it comes from stomach it's like it comes in a burp??) plus it's not very intense;
- a looot of trapped gas!!!!
- more indigestions (I do feel fat and greasy foods make it worse, i stopped eating greasy foods).
- diahrrea sometimes when i have stomach cramps.

2024.11.24 23:01 Killydilllied 5 year outlook? Commit or keep hobby
I’ve been actively working towards becoming a career pilot since April and I’m at the point where I need to commit or keep it at a hobby.
I take my instrument checkride in a few weeks and have been training while working full time in a health care job that makes around 100k and I set my schedule week by week. I DO NOT see myself in this field longer than I have to be.
If I were to go for it, I plan to do an accelerated program paid with cash to have my CFI, maybe CFII by May when my husband starts school where he will not be able to work until late summer of 2028, so I will be the sole income earner until then. I would likely work 50-75% in my healthcare job and the rest instructing during those years (even if that means early mornings, nights, and weekends), so building to 1500 will not be as fast as someone doing it full time.
I know aviation is cyclical, I’m not worried about being able to be hired soon, but hopefully around that 2028/9 mark. I have applied to the Horizon Program 1x didn’t have my application denied, but the “position was filled.”
I already have a healthy amount of student loans and worry I will be in an intense grind for the next 3-4 years, just to be at the back of the line of all the pilots piling up right now. I’ve heard a lot about there being a large chunk of boomer-aged pilots who will be retiring at that 65 mark over the next 5ish years and if you want to get into aviation, now is really the only window in a while that will have consistent turnover. Does anyone have any insight on what the numbers are for that turnover, the # of 55-65 year old pilots active right now, etc? I am a female with a doctorate so I feel like that might give me a 5% leg up, but not much…
TLDR: I know you cannot predict aviation, but does anyone have an insight on the mandatory retirement rate over the next 5-10 years or if I’ll be putting myself in a pickle by aiming to be hired around 2028-2029?

I know this is super specific so if I don't get an answer I'll just have to go check it out myself but I figured I'd ask here first.
Does anyone know if 105 ave between 112st and 115 st has been cleared of snow yet?? I have to do go and clean a condo building right there for someone and they don't have any visitor parking. Only street parking. I'm also coming from Sherwood park so I'd prefer not to have to drive all the way there only to discover that the snow still hasn't been cleared.
I've checked the city's "live" snow clearing map and its essentially useless. The whole city pretty much is currently showing as being "in progress".

2024.11.24 23:00 jeff3472 Does just the damaged part need to go or the whole tree?
This tree in my front yard broke during a storm. Based on other similar posts, I suspect that the other half of the broken part needs to go. Is that correct?
Additionally, if that part of the tree goes, all that is left are the leaning portions, which don’t look like they have the best support at the base (tried to show in picture 2). In the event of failure, that part would fall on the driveway. Would the leaning part be likely to be able to stand on its own or need to be removed to prevent vehicular damage?
In photo 3, the part that goes the most straight up is the second half of the broken portion.

Greetings.
I am looking for a new speaker for around 100$ (price can go up to 150 at maximum) during this black friday week.
I would usually use it at home in my room, in my living room during workout or on my balcony but I can sometimes use it outside when hanging out with friends. I would like if possible to be able to plug it as well for lossless audio listening.
I read about Soundcore speakers and saw good reviews about Boom 2 but was also curious about Boom 2 plus. You people can of course recommend other stuff but this brand is what I read the most about on the reddit topics I found.
What would you people recommend ? Let me know if you are missing information to make a proper recommendation.
