I remember at various points Sam saying he feels little to no connection to Judaism or his Jewish heritage but if so why does he focus on Israel so much? As someone who’s not particularly invested in this topic either way it’s poignant how every other episode if not multiple episodes in a row focus on the Israel-Hamas war.
This is a regional conflict, not involving American soldiers, that reignites practically every decade since the 50s. So why the special interest in it? If anything the Ukraine war is far more influential on US and global affairs and is more of a historical anomaly in terms of being the first hot war in Europe this millennium. The potential of the Taiwan conflict could also be said to be more relevant since it could draw America in and destroy the chip industry.
Is he in fact more connected to his Jewish identity than he lets on? This topic is just tired please move on.

When I search the Asus ROG Ally, both Target and Best Buy pop up with it on sale from $350, supposedly knocked down from $500. I'm probably not able to get it for myself this Christmas but maybe mid to late 2025.

Hi all,
I have severe cystic acne on my chin area that has persisted for about 1.5 years. During that time I've had periods where it has got significantly better, and periods where it has worsened. I bit the bullet in September and started accutane as I hit an all time low with my skin. I'm talking the worst pain I've ever been in (and my pain threshold is high). I have ongoing cystic lesions that have basically turned into one giant pooled abscess on my face. It's been horrible.
I started with 20mg everyday for 2 months. Then recently I was upped to 40mg every second day for at least a couple weeks so I can ease into 40mg everyday.
I had a whole range of blood tests taken with my GP for various issues (including skin, as he is helping me try to find my root cause). One of the tests was for my liver function. I had that test done on the 9th of November whilst I was still on 10mg dosage and as you can see, my ALT was 15, and AST was 20 (within normal ranges).
I then had my follow up appointment with my dermatologist a week later, and on the 14th of November I started my 40mg every second day schedule. She also requested routine bloods which i did on the 23rd of November. As you can see, they have significantly risen with ALT 109 and AslST 95. This was only after taking 5 doses of 40mg in total. Also of note, my current lesions flared BIG TIME after only 1 or 2 doses of 40mg. I didn't think it could get any worse, and I was finally seeing very small improvement after 2 months at 20mg so this rattled me.
My derm emailed me last night to say we need to discuss but it's "nothing worrying" and we just need to monitor more closely. However, I AM worrying as this is a significant jump and I am someone who is trying to investigate other health anomalies as well (hormone fluctuations, persistent low WBC and neutrophils, unexplained rashes that predate accutane to name a few).
I'm wondering if anyone else has experienced such a jump and what was the outcome?
