2024.11.24 23:51 Anxious_Season4320 Found hidden mold now what?
So ... we bought a fixer upper and pulled a wall cabinet and some shelves away and found this mold. Wondering whats best course of action? ( gonna make sure window above is no longer leaking 1st) We are replacing carpets already and are in process of covering walls with Bullseye 123 at least 2 times then 2-3 coats of paint once wall fixed. Thoughts?

I'm 23M my sister is 30ish, she's been on drugs for as long as I can remember but lately she's moved from weed to Higher substance's. She Is Married to a verbally abusive man who screams and yells like his life depends on it, anyways She's currently pregnant (Close To Her Due Date) and she cannot lay off of drugs at all, she claims she doesn't care about her children and wishes things would happen to her husband but I know she's not serious because I see the way she treats her children and she treats them well (Sometimes) what can i do to convince her that these drugs are killing her and isn't good for The baby ? How do I make her listen to reason? And lastly how can I make her see that drugs isn't the only thing in life, that she can be redeemed from all of this just by making good choices.

2024.11.24 23:51 OmittedScribe Just broke through 50k words, and feeling more inspired to write than ever!
My project isn't anywhere near finished (will proably be more like 100k when its finished) but I sailed through 50k words this month when I was so worried it would be challenging and impossible for me. It's been so cathartic for me writing my story, and I still have a lot to go. I've met a lot of great people and joined a lot of great groups through this subreddit, so thanks to all of you!

2024.11.24 23:51 TrentMan5964 Speedometer and odometer intermittently not working
On my 1997 hardbody 4x4 5 speed the speedometer and odometer occasionally stop working at the same time. It recently started happening this week, it's happened 3 times that I've noticed. It could stop for several minutes or seconds, it's very random. If I hit the dash sometimes it starts working again. Anyone got any ideas on where to start? I've heard this year doesn't have a speedometer cable and it's electronic. Not sure. Thanks

Just a question since I’m debating getting the NW pass but lowkey wanna save money. Do they actually ticket during weekends? Has anyone ever gotten ticketed during the weekend, if so do you know what time and what parking lot? I’ve been told Sundays the best day to park on campus, but I do not wanna risk getting ticketed.

Sorry if my title is a little weird. I want to do something where I go to coffee or visit with lonely seniors on occasion.
My grandparents were/have been a huge part of my life and thinking about lonely old people makes me really really sad. I want to be able to hangout with old people that don’t get much interaction and just talk with them for a while, but I don’t know how to go about that.
Like… where could I find these lonely old people. I guess I could volunteer at an old folks home or something like that? I don’t know. I just watched a video where a guy approached a random old man and asked to take his pictures and then the old man asked him to coffee and I cried because I wish more old people had someone to go to coffee with.
The older folks in my life are fortunate to have good social circles and good enough health that they can get around, but I know not all people are that lucky.
Can anyone think of a way I can hangout with older people and give them some company every once in a while? In the past I’ve thought of making some kind of internet advertisement offering services to hangout with an old person in your life, but I just worry about the safety risks of complete strangers contacting me.
