2024.11.24 23:30 cmark2no I now have some clavicles! Been a little over a month since I've started resistance training and close to a month since I started consistently tracking my steps. Weight has not moved much but I've lost a few belly inches. Haven't worked out my legs so any progress if any is purely from walking ☺️

Weight down to 110kg from 113kg last month... Belly circumference down by 4 inches ☺️ Also, I noticed that squats are now becoming more do-able, like I am now able to go full down on my back barbell squats... I have still mostly avoided running and am sticking to walks or even 10kg rucking when I feel it (I started at 6kg)... I've also started using the 30kg and 40kg power twister (started at 20kg) just to provide some variety to my barbell and dumbbells... I try to stay at a minimum 10k steps a day while being conscious that I move around from my seat every once in a while...
So far what is working for me is starting small with what I can actually manage and not getting pressured with what I see others are doing... Like I see people lifting heavier but I know I just can't do it at that level now so I stick with what I can do and just add onto it little by little. I've been obese for as long as I can remember with me actively going out of my way to avoid any strenuous physical activity. So just from that I know this is gonna be a really long journey, so no use getting impatient. Not to mention that body recomp by its concept will really take time however being a total newbie works to my advantage.

Hi Reddit, I need some advice on a tricky family dynamic.
I (29F) have always been close with my older brother (32M), and we’ve had a tight-knit family for years. He recently married his wife (30F), and while I’m genuinely happy for them, I’ve been noticing some uncomfortable behavior on her part.
At family gatherings, she often cuts me off in conversation, subtly contradicts me, or makes little digs at my expense. For example, if I’m sharing a story about work, she’ll chime in with, “Well, I heard that industry is dying anyway,” or if I mention something I cooked, she’ll say something like, “Oh, I make mine differently—it’s healthier that way.” These aren’t overt insults, but they sting nonetheless.
What makes it worse is that she’s super charming with everyone else in the family, and no one seems to notice these comments except me. I don’t want to make waves or create tension between her and my brother, but I’m starting to dread family events because of this.
How can I address this in a way that doesn’t make me seem overly sensitive or dramatic? Should I talk to her directly, bring it up with my brother, or just let it slide? I don’t want to be petty, but I also feel like I deserve respect.
Any advice is appreciated! Thanks in advance.

A few of you mentioned keeping a calm tone and focusing on how I feel rather than accusing her outright. That makes sense—I’ll try to have a one-on-one conversation with her soon and let her know how I’ve been feeling without pointing fingers.

What I can guarantee is that every single one of them posts was wrong. So don't start putting X amount of money into XRP counting on some person's opinion to come true because 99% of the time it's BS based on some hopium. Many fellow long-time holders have got used to not looking at the charts for months because it will go up when it goes up. We’ve been running ads for a few years now and every Q4 we’ve been able to generate very good ROAS, not to mention around this date (late November) but so far this Q4 it’s been really bad for us. Barely even making profits and tons of visits and ATC but such a low CVR.
We don’t understand because our offers are good, actually better than past years. Has anyone else been experiencing this?
