2024.11.25 02:00 GamersPlane Recent problems with VSCode in Ubuntu
I run Ubuntu 24.04 on my Laptop. I've noticed lately, when my laptop goes to sleep, when I wake it up, any open VSCode windows are acting funky. The top bar and the menu bar show, but the rest is grey, and while I can click File and hit Quit, nothing happens, forcing me to terminate the processes. Does this sound like an issue with my Ubuntu or with some patch of VS Code? Anyone know if there's a solution? I was considering putting a bug report onto the GitHub, but as I can't create a scenario to reproduce the bug (happening on my system), I didn't know what good it would do.

Radio Broadcasting kid here (23m).
Got my degree, got my internship, got part time work in the industry, leveraged that into full time work and now I hate it.
Im doing work in on-aivoice talent and soon promotions. Im a hard working and a natural talent but every night I feel this overwhelming panic that I can't handle this kind of work - leading to doomscrolling indeed.
I don't have any passion for talking about anything on the radio and I can't handle the idea that I'm never really off the clock, and everyday I have to start from 0.
The end goal is to produce radio commercials but those roles rarely even open up.
Do I up and leave after like a week for my mental health sake and end up in a different job I hate but I can at least listen to a podcast and get my evenings back again?
TL;DR I invested $$$$$$$ into a role I want to leave.
