2024.11.24 23:28 Achronyistic [TOMT][GAME][2010s] (Maybe) Multiplayer 2D side-screen arena fighter flash game with buzzsaw launcher
I have distinct memories of playing this game after school and it being my favorite until I forgot the name and couldnt find it again, every now and then it enters my head and I feverishly try to find it to no avail.
It was a 2d arena fighter game where you would fight in a deathmatch style against other players (although they easily could have just been bots). It was side focused, rather than top down, and the maps were enclosed spaces. There were pickupable weapons, the only unique one I remember was a buzzsaw launcher that I would cut off arms and legs if you hit someone with it. On that note I remember it being quite a gory game, and there would be slow motion when something really brutal happened, even if you weren't there, so sometimes you'd just be running along and then the game would go into slow-mo.
It's very similar to another flash game called Raze, if you are familiar, but I remember it being a bit slower paced and with a grittier aesthetic

I woke up this morning to grind the new update of pet simulator 99, I kept on hearing that there were going to be nerfs I knew it myself too because for this update it's really easy to get huges and possible titanic. I get if Big games you want to nerf the chances of getting these huges and titanics but you just made it impossible, increasing the amount of pumpkin spice cats it takes to create only ONE corn cat by 10??? Why? You made the update from f2p to p2w. I'm just saying that the nerf shouldn't be this big because when the update first came out close to 200,000 players were playing. That next day you lost over 90,000 players. If you keep this up your player count is going to keep on decreasing. For the f2p players out there like myself we don't want to spend our time on one day 24/7 at the the p2w players have their robux and can use the forever pack.
Honest rating on the update. 4.7-10
Fun and creative
went from f2p to p2w, nerfed it terrible and INSANELY time consuming

I'm currently working 2 jobs to fund some projects and my side business. One is full-time and the other one is part time. Even though it's part-time, the manager is always contacting me outside of work hours. Last Friday I got a verbal warning, because I refused to sign in with my work email on my phone's discord app, so I could "always be available".
They require full-time commitment while paying people part-time? How does that even work? Is it that common for part-time employers to act like that? Oh and I was also told to take this role seriously or more serious actions would be taken.

Hello everyone, I've planned my next split keyboard build, it's a Chocofi wired keyboard. I've already ordered some parts, maybe I should have made this post before ordering haha. I've thought about what I want and done my research, but I'd like to hear your opinions and advice in case I've missed something. I chose the following parts:
- PCB: Chocofi PCB x5 (from GitHub) [ordered from JLCPCB]
- Switches: Choc Twilight x40 (4 spare) [to order from Splitkb]
- Key caps: MBK, 1u x30 (2 spare), 1u homing x4 (2 spare) , 1u convex x6 (2 spare), 1.5u x 4 (2 spare) [to order from Splitkb]
- Other parts: Pro Micro RP2040 x3, diodes x100, Choc hot swap sockets x50, MCU sockets and pins, reset switches x20, TRRS cable, TRRS connectors x10 [ordered from AliExpress]
- Case: SLS nylon case [to order later from JLC3DP]
- In terms of spare parts, I'll buy extras of everything, but do you think they are sufficient, especially for the key caps?
- My options for the case materials are SLA resin and SLS nylon (MJF nylon is more expensive) I like the finish of resin, but I'm concerned about its brittleness considering that I'll screw it together and I'd like to be able to open it a lot.
