2024.11.25 00:21 Wimmy_92 Should I leave my stable 9-5 job that I hate?
A couple of months ago I started focusing on my dream career as a dev as a side hustle. I got pretty lucky and in the past month alone I've made more money in 1 month doing that than I do in a year working at my 9-5.
I've even taken a career break from my 9-5 to focus on my dev work but my career break is almost over and I don't want to go back. but there's something in me that's stopping me. I've already spoken to family and friends on what path to take and they have all told me to take the leap of faith and go for it.
I'm just curious if there's been anyone else in a similar situation.
I must note I've been in my 9-5 for 10 years and for me it feels like 10 years wasted. I've always been extremely stressed and been sick from the stress but with my dev work because it's freelance I can work remotely and at home and it makes me feel way better. Am I just overthinking it. Is it obvious that I should quit?

2024.11.25 00:21 Colmado_Bacano I quit a while ago and my hair isn't falling out and still growing?
I am not complaining, but I only used it for a month and it's been about a month off of it but my hair is still growing in.
Also, the reason I quit was huge black bags under my eyes and facial wrinkles appearing. It has since healed itself and I finally look normal again. Just wondering how long until my hair returns to "normal bald."

Hi,
I would like some help deciding what to buy for my first Simagic setup. I mainly play Dirt/WRC and use both manual and sequential. So the DS-8X would be ideal hybrid for my use and I can mount it together with TB-1 handbrake.
However i've read that the DS-8X is not maybe the most durable sequential shifter and people have reported the spring breaking, so I would not want to risk that. So would it be a good idea to buy the Q1 or Q1S to be used as the sequential shifter.
My issues with the additional sequential shifter is that I need to have the DS-8X and TB-1 mounted together and I dont know how I could manage to mount the Q1 beside them so that I could just have all three there nicely mounted and usable. I would not like to unscrew and mount them everytime I plan to switch.
Secondly what I've seen in videos and read also the Q1S and especially Q1 are extremely loud, and that is my big concern.
So do you think the DS-8X would be enough and it would be durable with daily use of the sequential shifter in dirt/wrc ?

Hey, I have made a reservation in a Courtyard Milano with a prepay rate. My CC was supposed to be charged within 24 hours, or the booking cancelled (which was over 2 weeks ago), but they never even made an attempt. I can still see the reservation in my app. I am really worried they'll cancel it on the day I land. Did you ever have that happen to you before? Should I just call the hotel?
