My Kia ev6 is the best car I ever had. It will be 3 years in march 2025 and I'm at almost 90 thousand km with almost no battery degradation, almost no maintenance. But I'm starting to wondering if I buy a car in 2025/6 which will it be (and it seems ev8 it's too far away). Any thoughts?

Like for example I recently just bought tickets to see a concert, I don't like live music but I'm really excited because I like this artist. Before I even bought the tickets I started crying cuz I was so happy that it was POSSIBLE that I'm actually doing something with my life lmfao. I'm going either alone or with my sister and I'm honestly pretty excited. And a few years back when my dad told me he's taking me to Pittsburgh I cried cuz I was so happy, cuz I wanted to go rly badly and it was so fun
Maybe it's just cuz I have a very boring life 😭 I don't really think about it until I think about others, but I don't /do/ anything besides online crap. I don't have many friends, I grew up rurally so I couldn't just go outside and walk to a friends or to the store (I did used to play by myself outside tho), I don't get invited to parties and stuff LOL like maybe it's just cuz any hint of spontaneity in my life gets me so hyped up LMAO. Like idek my mood can get totally altered, pretty quick when my attentions drawn to something. Like I feel like all my attention and energy just gets encapsulated into that one thing and it's all I can think about

2024.11.25 00:30 edryk Why DON'T I want to move my home base to Vulcanus?
I'm at the point where I am about to head off to Gleba (my 3rd planet after having conquered Fulgora and Vulcanus); so I thought I would pay my technical debts in anticipation of dealing with spoilage when I bring AgriSci to Nauvis.
As I was moving the production of various Sciences out of the spaghetti that is the middle of my starter area where my labs live and the spaghetti sciences converge, I started thinking about off-world science production.
I had already moved my labs away from the middle of the spaghetti, and moved the landing pad with it, and was just rebuilding Red Science somewhere close to ore that hadn't yet been exhausted and was going to Train it to the new Lab space when I thought, why don't I just put some Reds on the Vulcanus ship along with MetalSci... its much easier to make there and they'll land right at the Labs with the Landing Pad...
And then I thought a little longer... Every non-planet-exclusive science can be made on Vulcanus... unlike Fulgora with its lack of Coal (and therefore MilitarySci), Vulcanus only lacks Uranium and has all these other advantages.
So, what is the downside of moving my Labs to Vulcanus?

This man floats into town, starts mumbling a single word to prove he can read the Grimmerie, does NO magic and these people think he is the prophecy fulfilled?
I hope they explore how this came to be further in Part 2. Let’s explore how he grifted this entire nation with nothing to back it up. My man has one broken hot air balloon, a handsome face, does a little two step and suddenly these people think he’s God.
Perhaps the droughts that were mentioned made the people incredibly desperate for any sign of hope. Maybe he showed up in town at the same time it started raining again (Morrible using her weather controlling abilities?). Just had a thought, maybe the people are catching on to his shady ways and that’s why he wants to make animals the target of their ire, to get the focus off of him.
We’ve all personally seen how a slick fast talking salesman can convince people that reality isn’t real so it’s not that hard to buy but I would love to see the logistics of it mapped out because these people are obsessed with this man. How’d we get here and how the hell do we get out?
