How come we the Wolves had to get rid of KAT and Celtics basically kept their entire team? Their 3rd and 4th options in Porzingis and D white average like 20pts and can go for 30 on any given night. Like Randle a “2nd option” averages like 20-22 pts similar to Derrick white who’s a 4th option on a healthy Celtics team yet White has better rebounding, defense and 3pt shooting than Randle. Celtics had 3 starters from their team selected for Team USAs Olympics, it would’ve been 4/5 of their starters if JB didn’t go on his Nike conspiracy stuff.
I don’t think people genuinely understand how good Derrick White is, he’s the greatest role player I’ve ever seen! He rarely has turnovers, great defensively and does not miss 3s in the clutch, even in the finals vs the Mavs. The Celtics can casually win games without Tatum needing to shoot well just like in the finals. This team is genuinely ruining basketball, like they just shoot a million 3s and have their entire team of 40% 3pt shooters make half of them.

I’m a new homeowner (privileged to be one) and was baffled to learn that HTB and FTB schemes did apply to second hand homes. The Local Authority Home Loan is the only that applies but gas a really strict guidelines process.
How it is that a second hand home doesn’t qualify for any scheme or grant? It makes no sense for the applicants who are first time buyers. We got no support. These new “affordable homes” don’t exist to meet the criteria for those scheme because they aren’t affordable and second hand homes seem to be the only ones that do - but are not covered. Why??

2024.11.25 00:30 AMZLAltAcc Will HR refund my UPT? Since they changed my schedule without notifying me?
I made another post but my OM was no use, so I when to wait till tomorrow to talk to HR. Someone randomly changed my schedule without ever notifying me. I was schedule to work today and I put in vacation so I ended up only having to work 1.5 hours. When I woke up I checked a to z to make sure what time I have to go to work and I realized they changed my schedule and since it’s Sunday I was also scheduled to work my new shift. I talked to my OM because it doesn’t seem right and he told me I have to work my previous shift which was only 1.5 hours and then come back and work my new schedule. I talked to ERC and they said that my manager and hr can fix it but since no one was able to help me today I ended up using my UPT and leaving early since I had plans. I was supposed to be off for today and the next 2 days but now I’m stuck working. I have a feeling HR won’t side with me and will force me to work. I just hope I get my UPT refunded.

Married to my active duty husband for 10+ years. We have a 3 and 1 year old. Husband dropped a bomb on me and wants a divorce. Nothing bad happened…trying to be as amicable as possible but so confused, so my questions are:
- Once divorced, do I have to move where he gets stationed next if we share custody? (We’ve assumed I’ll take primary custody). He will have orders in 2 years.
- As primary parent, does he pay child support? I work full time and can comfortably afford to live with the children but would love any extra income to provide the best life for the kids.
- With 10+ years of shared lives, is it best to hire attorneys? We have investments, a mortgage…
I’m just so overwhelmed and would love any guidance.
