I got into my top 2 school almost two weeks ago. My bf and I broke up 2 days ago. The break up has nothing to do with law school, in fact he waited until after my applications to do it. I know that I should be on top of the world right now but it all just really hurts. I can’t talk to family or friends because we are planning on going through the holidays pretending. This is because we already had Thanksgiving plans with my family, and we’re hosting a party for Christmas. I just feel so numb, I know with time I’ll get through this but I don’t want to. The thought of going through law school on my own without him by my side is simply unbearable.

2024.11.25 02:00 ncfroc iPhone/RCS group messaging caution switching from Warp to Light Speed (and Dark Star)
VZW service has been spotty in our areas so my wife wanted to try Dark Star on her iPhone 13 iOS18. I teleported over and then learned about the known issue with group messages coming as individual texts. This was a surprise and obviously not that useable, so we teleported again to Light Speed after a few hours.
Once on Light Speed, everything seemed good for a day. Unfortunately, we found that there was still an issue with RCS group messages. On group chats with *all* RCS members that were created before the teleports, her iPhone would not receive any messages from any of the members. She could send messages to the group, but not receive from anyone on the group. She didn't have this problem with other larger group messages, which I assume were not all RCS members. I was one of the members of the group chat and if I turned *off* RCS on *my* Android, then she was able to receive my messages from the group again.
US Mobile support tried to help and confirmed all the settings were correct, did many "all settings" and network resets, but nothing worked. Eventually, we teleported back to Warp and everything started working again. Including all of the missing texts, about 50 of them, started coming through.
We'll have to try teleporting again after the Dark Star issues are resolved and after the other networks get RCS supported on USM.
