So I only have 2 lor's, couldn't get in contact with anyone from old school
My guidance one, I mentioned in my brag sheet about wanting to do electrical & being in the semiconductor industry. However, a lot of unis nearby don't offer electrical, I did comp sci instead.
Also for my supplemental essay, I gotta talk about my major, and there were some points (same major as LOR), but different reasons for choosing it that I did not put in my brag sheet.
Will this be a dealbreaker for those?

Hello. My Xiaomi Mi 9T will celebrate its 5th birthday in March and I've been thinking about replacement. I don't need top camera, but I'd like it to be decent.
What I seek for is good performance as long as it can be, current Xiaomi is still working like I'd desire - no lags, no self reboots etc., but battery is significantly worse. And soft is outdated, so updates support is the other thing, after good battery with long lifespan.
After some research I've got some options, but I do wonder if they are best in the budget range. - Oneplus Nord 4 / Oneplus 12R (since they're in the same price right now) But I do believe there will be better options that those. But let them be a point of reference for prices, since my prices aren't in USD :P

Hey All. So I've been facing RSI issues for the last couple years, and I am going to be seeing a neurologist soon who will hopefully help me get to the root of the problem. Unfortunately (and fortunately), I had backed several games on Kickstarter before my condition set in, including the fantastic Wario-like Antonblast, and I need to select a platform to redeem my pledge on before the end of the week. I do love this game, having grown up on Wario titles for years, but am having trouble deciding which platform would be better to experience this title on that would cause me less stress.
As for my condition, I have a lot of stress in my neck, though primarily recurring tendonitis in both arms, carpal tunnel in the left and cubital tunnel in the right. As for devices, I have a laptop and desktop, several controllers and an arcade stick, an LCD Steam Deck, and an original Nintendo Switch with detachable joycons. My initial plan was to redeem my pledge copy for Steam first and then possibly get the game physically for the Switch, but if it would be better for me to go with one system over the other for a game of this genre with the inputs that I have, I would appreciate the input.

Today I had the worst succession of dreams anyone can have. Between migraine, hungry and with both my legs Almost unable to move, I had a dream where I was trying to get home But every time I spoke, everything would pause and a Japanese guy would appear and start explaining how to say what I said in Japanese, the verb conjugations, explaining each Kanji and Its origin, I woke up 4 times during the night and when I went back to sleep the Japanese guy appears and continues explaining to me how to say things in Japanese. And no, I don't have Duolingo, And I don't know Japanese either, it was a succession of terrible dreams in one horrible night.

I'm reading Record of a spaceborn few and I just can't visualise homesteader ships in my head. I get the central cylinder and the hexagons per se, but how/where do those hexagons fit? They are supposed to be a ring arount the main tube and spin, but laying them out to provide downward gravity makes those hexagons pretty much impossible to visualize. Hexagons fit flatly in a plane, not in a ring

effing hard??? I just need to vent and maybe know that I am not alone. Our daughter has slept through the night maybe four times in her life. It feels like the last few weeks she is having meltdowns more than she isn’t - SO grumpy. She still breastfeeds and if we are at home wants milk constantly so I struggle with feeling resentment over it and guilt if I say no. I consider weaning but it also is a helpful tool and makes nap/bedtime much easier. I struggle with body image and find it nearly impossible to lose weight while still breastfeeding and being constantly sleep deprived. To add to our personal situation, she fractured her tibia a few weeks ago going down a slide with my mom (😑) and can’t walk so has no outlet for all of her energy. She won’t let me put her in a ring sling anymore either so basically have to carry her a lot now that she can’t walk.
She is the love of my life and I wouldn’t trade it for the world and also I’m feeling so depleted and burnt out and is this age hard for anybody else? Like I shudder to think of what a “threenager” version of this will be like if it’s supposedly worse than it is now. I’ve lost my cool a number of times recently and I feel so bad. I know her little brain is still developing but oof. I want to give her a sibling but I don’t know if it would be wise sometimes. It’s so hard to feel like both a good parent and still have a sense of self some days 😞
