2024.11.25 01:31 ActiveRepulsive5832 Goodbye nest.. hello echo!
 | Recently returned my nest hub 2nd gen and got an echo show 8” for the kitchen. I just wanna say if you’re thinking about switching; do it. The echo offers insanely good automations compared to Google home, and just in general has a better ecosystem I feel like. I can have my Tapo cameras turn on a Philips hue bulb. Although I will say from having both Google is definitely better understanding and sounds more “natural” if that makes sense. I can tell Google to turn on the lights, and it gets it. Echo doesn’t. The first time I told it to turn on the lights it said something about “couldn’t find a group named lights” so I had to make one but that’s really my only complaint. Google does also have better gestures and a better presence sensor, amazons presence sensor (it just uses the camera compared to googles light/proximity) is a little buggy at times but not much. I turned off all the ads on mine as soon as I got it, and all it shows now is the weather and my photos on Amazon photos. I don’t use the camera as much as I thought I would, but it’s still nice to have. I subscribed to emergency assist for a better peace of mind too. I like that Amazon music shows the lyrics on the echo where Apple Music on the nest hub, does not. One last thing. ITS FAST! The nest hub was less than 2 months old and it was insanely laggy, and slow, and buggy. The echos UI is just super smooth, super responsive to touch, and overall a 100% better experience than the nest was. 2024.11.25 01:31 GreenDash72 Moved XRP from Coinbase to Tangem - now missing 10 XRP 👀
I am a new user and tried another transaction before moving my XRP to Tangem to be sure it’s all good. Don’t want to lose anything. All was fine.
However, I moved 120 XRP to Tangem which now shows only 110 XRP in. Y wallet.
When tapping the transaction details it shows 10 XRP in “reserve”
What does this mean? I would like it ALL in my Tangem wallet.

2024.11.25 01:31 Terrible_Sweet5450 2019 Kawasaki ninja 400. Went over big pothole now bike won’t start, what should I do? I checked battery terminal make sure they are tight.
I rode over a bad pothole at about 20-30 mph few seconds down the road my bike craps out loses throttle power and shuts off, the screen remained on I’m pretty sure because I turn key on and off and try starting bike but it didn’t start. I wheeled it down the street to parking lot and waited a little while it started back idled for a notable time 15-30 secs and powered off. I pushed it most of the way home then rolling down a hill I started it and it died again. When I was 2 blocks away I turned the bike on and it ran all the way home slightly uphill as long I kept it above certain RPMS it didn’t feel weak. Took this video next day and here we are

I have significant pain upon palpation of the zygomatic arch. To my knowledge, no jaw issues, no teeth issues, no grinding, no pain with chewing, however, bilateral sides are so tender to palpation. Any ideas?

Hi all,
I currently live in Melbourne and am looking at buying a small business (eg. carpet cleaning, window cleaning etc.) in the Gold Coast, and moving up there.
I have quit my previous job, and have some savings (most of which would go into the business), but no current proper income, so getting a traditional rental right now would probably be very hard.
Any tips on where/how I could find affordable (around $550pw or less) temporary PRIVATE accomodation (not house-sharing etc.) for a few months or so until I'm able to prove my income from the business and get a proper rental through a traditional landlord/lease agreement? Airbnbs and motels seem to be a bit too expensive...
It doesn't matter if it's a small apartment, or a cabin in a holiday park etc. I'm not picky, I just need somewhere to park my vehicle and where I don't have to share with other people.
I know how hard it can be finding a rental these days, so I'm not sure how I could go about it.
