Though there is no specific event on this particular evening, admission is FREE meaning you get to make your own event! Check out some cubism before hitting up Made By Marcus? Check. See 75+ works of art from private local collections before bouncing to Maria for some (delicious) authentic Mexican grub? Check & check. Learn about J.W.G. MacDonald and his particular influence on the AGA before heading out for a romantic stroll beneath the bright neon of YEG's free outdoor sign museum... check, check and check! So there you have it. The night is yours, make of it what you will = )
Lite Up The Nite Morinvillans, rejoice. For your time has come to take in this season's splendours on a dime other than your own. For this entire next weekend, hit up your local township for a slew of FREE, fun & family friendly activities. Including but not limited to... an old-fashioned Christmas party, a free keepsake photo with Santa, decorate a cookie (but don't you dare eat it), hula hoop performances & horse drawn wagons, live music, a parade, fireworks & a whole lot more! Originally I was an anime-only fan, and then I eventually started the manga from 340 onward, and over the years I reread SW a lot, and now I've read the entire manga front to back a few times. This caused me to branch out and read other manga, and now I find myself enjoying actual anime a bit less, even HxH anime! It's a feeling similar to reading a novel vs watching an adaptation of that novel. Just don't hit the same. I'm not complaining or anything, it's just interesting to me that HxH manga was my gateway to the entire medium basically, and I seem to prefer the medium of manga over anime now.

Hello everyone,
I’m a 39-year-old male, non-smoker, and I was recently diagnosed with pulmonary ossification. For those unfamiliar, it’s a rare condition where bone tissue forms in the lungs. From what we can gather, it’s likely linked to burn pit exposure during my time serving overseas.
I’ve been trying to find more information, but there’s very little out there. Most of what I’ve seen is limited to a handful of case studies, and I’m feeling a bit lost about what to expect or how others have managed this condition.
Has anyone here experienced this or know someone who has? Any insights on symptoms, progression, or treatment options would be incredibly helpful. I’d also love to hear if anyone has had success connecting this condition to burn pit exposure for VA claims or other support.
I am still active duty and set to retire in less than a year (I hit 20 years in November 2025).

2024.11.25 04:00 Mean-Marionberry-148 What did you do to your MINI this weekend?

In the last two days, I finished my LED headlight retrofit (holy moly they are actually really bright and have a nice clean light cut off and no blinding light for oncoming traffic), installed the Powerflex upper engine mount inserts and rear engine mount bushing, and replaced the rear shock absorbers/dampers and bump stops/dust guards. You can see the old bump stop on the shock to the left had completely disintegrated. The old damper was also super easy to compress. Besides the large center bolt on the lower engine mount being nearly impossible to get loose due to rust, the rest of my projects have gone well and not taken too much time. Getting the old bushing out was a PITA, too, but the new ones slid right in and reassembly was fast. I’ve done more on this car in a week than I’ve done on any of my other cars in the past five years, but I still need to do a few more jobs.
I noticed the balance shaft end caps are slightly leaking (more of a seep). One of them looks easy to get to, the other looks like a nightmare. I’ve got a faint intermittent knocking sound in the car. My best guess is either the sway bar end links or the control arm bushings. I only hear it at very low speed when first accelerating or shifting gears, or if I tap the brakes hard. The car also seems to lean a bit to the right when coming to a complete stop. The steering feels tight and responsive, so I’m honestly not too sure what it is. I may take the car to a local MINI specialist and let them give the car a once over to diagnose the problem.
I’m also curious if anyone has gone ahead preemptively and replaced the oil cooleoil filter housing. My car is a late-2015 build 2016MY F55 S. I’ve seen a lot of posts about B48 oil filter housings failing causing a massive loss of coolant and oil, or the two mixing. Replacing it seems to be quite an invasive and expensive repair. Seeing how widespread the problem with B48s seems to be across all applications of this engine, I’m honestly a bit surprised BMW hasn’t had to do a recall. Nearly every NHTSA complaint about engine problems on any late model MINI/BMW is about this part failing.
BMW charges $700 for the replacement OEM Mahle part, but Toyota sells what appears to be the exact same part for the Supra for ~$275. There are also aftermarket aluminum housings available from places like ECS Tuning. I want to have full faith in this car for road trips, so I’m almost considering just having it replaced to take my worry away.

2024.11.25 04:00 Deliandel Apparently it is possible for an entire litter of 7 to survive

At least in easy mode not sure about challenging or accurate. So for the rundown, I wanted the instant family achievement so I took over the Wapiti Lake Pack. After a while my first litter of 7 is born, one died early on of sickness and another wandered off while I was sleeping so 5 survived to yearlings.
Second litter is born, 7 pups again and just like the first time one pup gets sick early on but recovers with just 2% health left. Then we get to growing pups, everything is still going well and several yearlings and subordinates disperse during that time. About a game day from finishing growing pups though 2 pups get sick within minutes of each other. I suspect this was the game's final attempt to kill some off but there simply wasn't enough time cause I slept twice through their sickness and was able to advance to young hunters which immediately stopped the sickness and both pups made a full recovery.
Litter 3 has just been born and I get another 7 pups cause apparently my wolf and his mate are super fertile. We'll see if my luck holds for them as well but I highly doubt it cause I'm now up to 19 wolves total with the breeding pair, 3 subordinates, 7 yearlings and 7 pups. I suppose it's still possible if several of my yearlings and subs disperse en masse like last time but we'll see what happens.

Hey everyone,
I’m a second-year student working on an idea for a platform to help make navigating uni easier, and I’d love your thoughts!
The idea is like a Miro board but for your uni pathway. It would let you map out connections between your core subjects, breadths, and all the other opportunities the uni offers (like internships, workshops, etc.). You could even see anonymous “maps” from other students to explore different pathways and how they’re connecting things.
Would something like this be helpful for you? Or do you think there are other challenges students face that should be addressed?
