I was at work ringing up a customer, they were telling my boss and I that the item is a gift for their dad. I said "Yea I wish I could get it for my dad too. He'd love it." My boss asked why I couldn't get it and mail it to him. I looked at her and reminded her my dad is dead. I chuckled as the customer looked kinda horrified, the boss just shook her head, rolled her eyes and said "I knew that. I walked right into that."
I'm still amused and I know my dad would chuckled too.

im new to plants & i got this spider plant a few weeks ago & slowly each leaf has been turning yellow/brown & dying! i didn’t repot it, just placed it in a larger pot & water in the sink to let all excess water drain out about once a week.
the only thing i can think of is that my apartment is SUPER low light, so i purchased the grow light seen in these photos & attached it just now in hopes of saving it.
is there anything else i may be missing?
the last photo shows how much light the area is in gets during peak daytime & how it looked when i first brought her home.
this is the only spot in my apartment i can put it as of now where it will get any light & also be safe from my cats.

2024.11.25 02:30 Rule1-Cardio Fenix 7s Pro SS 42mm vs. Fenix 7 Pro SS 47mm
 | Trying to decide on which Fenix 7 Pro SS I want to keep and would like some opinions. 42mm vs 47mm. 42mm is more similar in size compared to the Forerunner 235 I'm upgrading from but the battery life on the 47mm is very enticing. The 47mm also feels like more of an "upgrade" from the 235, maybe due to the larger screen and even beefier look from the thicker metal bezel. Any thoughts on the look of each? The 42mm looks like a normal watch and will not stick out IMO. Both feel just fine. Does the 47mm look to big from a practical standpoint? My only real other concern besides looks is HR accuracy (I know, chest straps are more accurate) but is this watch large enough for that to be an issue on my wrist? I’m new to the OLED world, I’m going to upgrade to a PS5 pro on Tuesday along with a new TV. I’m very indecisive which one. I mainly want the G4 but I’m seeing stuff about it ‘needing’ calibrated. How true is this? At the moment the G3 is $300 cheaper brand new. I’m not worried about the money. I’m worried about if I’m going to have any issues with either tv especially with stuff I see about calibration. It’ll be used for 80% gaming and 20% watching tv shows
