I have been a Heavy Metal fan as long as I can remember. I have collected and reviewed albums for over 30 years. The 80's will always be my favorite era for Heavy Metal as it rose up and found its footing. I have roughly 2500 different albums from the decade and thought I would give you my take on what I think are the best Heavy Metal releases from each year of the 80's. These are just my opinion of course and I would love to know your thoughts on the year.
1982 Was the most influential year for me when it comes to my conversion to being a metal fan. That was without a doubt because of Screaming For Vengeance. You can see some of the old NWOBHM sounds starting to fade a bit and a more modern metal sound starting to take root. Not a lot from the states still, but you can see a few bands making their presence known here, and of course the LA strip was about to blow up.

 | I have posted before, but I will ask again for some advice. My PS5 is hardwired with a cat8 Ethernet but I am still losing connection and have just a laggy pixelated screen. I don't know what to do. I have some screenshots of the speed test Inger on my phone from my wifi, and a screenshot shot of my PS5 connection test. The PS5 seems so low and I don't know why. 2024.11.25 02:44 elmatt71 Planning calories for Thanksgiving meal
For those of you who have been on Zepbound for awhile and don't rely on almost total hunger suppression on Zepbound. Do you have any tips on how to enjoy yourself without over doing it on Thanksgiving? I have been able to comfortably limit myself to 1350-1550 calories a day while getting a decent amount of protein. Thanks to Zepbound I can make the healthy decisions I was not able to make before. However, as I am looking forward to Thanksgiving, the only really healthy option that we typically have is the turkey. Everything else: cornbread casserole, green bean casserole, mashed potatoes, cranberry sauce, bread, pie...all have a ton of calories and little to no valuable nutrition. I was thinking of eating 3-5 oz of turkey and limiting the cornbread and green bean casserole to 1/2 cup serving each, skip the mashed potatoes and bread (fortunately I don't like stuffing so that is not an issue) but I love pie! So, maybe a 1/2 slice of pie? I will be able to stay away from the snacks and finger foods... My other dilemma is Friday is my weigh in day. Any tips?

Hi all, I haven't played my N64 or any of the games in years. I think I want to sell the 64 and the games. I assume everything still works since it worked the last time I played it which might be 15 years ago. Is there an easy way to test if the gear still works after all this time? I'd rather not buy an old CRT TV or any expensive AV to HDMI converters. I imagine I'm going to need to buy something to test but figured I'd ask you smart people if y'all had any ideas.

2024.11.25 02:44 MrPleaseForget2 Why are Ogryn weapons so limited?
What I mean by the title is, there's no real "spice" to any of the weapons, when it feels like a huge giant strong man could have so many possibilities. Even the lore suggests they could have some really fun, albeit stupid, weapons. For instance it's said they don't use many guns because they always try and hit folk with them, play into that! Give me a broken melta rifle only given to the rejects because it was beyond repair to be used normally, so the ogryn just swings it around by its strap, make it less effective than a normal weapon but give swings a 25% to just randomly shoot and knock yourself and every enemy back. Feels like there's so much more potential than slightly different variation of club. Or at least give me a two handed tree trunk to hit people with, a tanks ripped off barrel or opening hatch etc. Ogryns are stupid, give me stupid

I am going away later this week and am curious about heating for my caliking. Is there something I can get to set heating on a timer? Right now I just do it manually 6am and 6pm. Do I need a timer or would he be alright with leaving the temp in between day heat and night heat?

So the specific food brand my cat eats is out of stock EVERYWHERE where we live. It would take too long to order online too. What should I do? I bought some other brand cat food to see if he'd eat it, but it was a definite no, unsurprisingly, since he’s picky and the change was so sudden. I was thinking of temporarily getting the kitten version of the same brand we usually buy, just while I wait to get the right stuff again. I figured it would be kinda similar to his usual kibble.
