I am experiencing some challenges while studying for the LSAT, and they are starting to affect my mental health seriously. I’m using 7Sage as my study tool for the LSAT, and as I am going through the course.
Background context
Context: I don’t think that I am anyone special. I was never gifted at anything academically; I barely passed high school and didn’t know how the fuck they let me into college. Somehow, I was accepted (I assume because colleges are a business and like money). Despite my early academic problems, I graduated summa cum whatever the fuck in college, it was not the highest one, but it was a Latin honor, non the less. (You can tell me how much I care.) However, I got a degree in political science, so do the Latin honors count? I only did the political science degree because I could write decently well and knew that I could have a good enough GPA to attempt to get into law school. I think it was a 3.7 at graduation.
Now I know the LSAT is a fucking beast and is explicitly designed to deter the weak-minded and non-dedicated from law school, which this test is quickly revealing me to be. But still, I want to go to law school, but I have very few options because of my living situation and even less because of my financial situation. But here is the thing: I am not trying to go to Harvard, Yale, or any other Ivy League school that will set you up for life. My only option is an online hybrid degree program from the few schools in the country that even offer it. I am not trying to get a 170+; I am trying to get a 155 (or whatever the median score is), MAYBE a 160, but that would be a fucking dream come true. My point is that I am not setting my expectations high because I am trying to be the statistical average. Even if I went to law school, I wouldn’t try to go to big law and make it big; I would want to be a small-town prosecutor or public defender who made a decent living.
So, what’s the problem? Well, even though I have set my expectations extremely low, I am somehow fucking failing those. I have been studying intermittently for a few months because I am getting extremely discouraged. I get pretty much every single question wrong and never feel confident about why I am correct when I am. Only a vague feeling of “well that was the least shitty of all the answers.”
The only credit I will give myself is that I always pick the trap answer. While this does not seem like a good thing, the trap answer is always something that at least has some consistent internal logic to it.
Now I am a person who does not mind grinding problems over and over and over and over until I cannot continue to show myself that I am putting the best effort forward to get shit right. But there is another problem: it seems that on any LSAT training program, there is only a set number of questions from previous LSATs they have. So, If I do the grind strategy, I will run out of questions to review, and then I’m fucked. Then, I will start getting questions right, not because I use logic, but because I start remembering them.
Now, I try to slowly go over questions I get wrong and milk all of the logic and training out of every question, but it seems inefficient. There is only so much time in the day for me to study, and I spent 60-90 minutes reviewing five different questions and their answers because I was trying to understand them and why I got them wrong. But even though I go through the questions thoroughly, it seems like it does not matter; I will get the next one wrong anyway because of my missing one stupid detail.
So, I wrote this long post seeking advice: how should I proceed?
For those wondering, I have not even taken a practice test yet because all the practice questions show that I take too long or get them wrong. I am so, seeing as I only have so many practice tests. I don’t want to take a few, see myself get fucking dragged, and feel that I have wasted them, not doing what I can to study harder.
I have no idea how to proceed because every time I log onto 7sage, I just get depressed at how wrong I am every time. Maybe I should just say fuck it and grind through wasting my precious questions and hope it’s enough; what do you guys think?

There are several situations where I have seemingly good conversation with people but am too scared to give out my number or etc because of fear of being creepy.
Two scenarios:
- Meeting people at bars or events. I have given out my number and made some friends recently doing this. I want to get better at talking to people in public places but I don't want to come off as creepy.
- People at work. I have conversations with people that work at places I go.
Today I was talking to one of the employees at the arcade I went to. We complimented each others clothes and appearence and were talking and I was thinking about giving her my number but I felt wierd because she's at work.
What do you think?
I've talked to one of my friends about this and he said that I should just give people my number and it won't be weird or make things awkward especially since most people I won't see more than once anyways?
