Dynasty league started this year (NML), originally the commissioner wanted the vetoes enabled. However; when he started making sus trades, the league rejected them and he turned vetoes off. 8 weeks later I traded Jayden Daniels for Daniel Jones, a kicker and a pick. I agree it may not be the fairest trade, but idk the guy who offered it to me at all and in a league where we got rid of voting it seems wrong that the commish and what I perceive as his "friends" step in and cancel the trade. AITA for being upset with commissioner?

2024.11.25 03:30 Njordh How to improve graphics of PS1 games (Trimui)
 | I'm using a Trimui SP but I assume these things are rather device agnostic at least when it comes to what core settings to use. I'm running the PS1 game "Vagrant Story" and as much as I like the game it is very pixelated. I played around with some settings and I can get to a significantly improved appearance if I; - switch to Duckstation core - go >Core Options>Enhancement Settings and set GPU renderer to "Hardware (Vulkan). I notice it has a default value of '2x' for 'Internal Resolution scale' Save it and return to the game. Good news: The game looks 100% 'better'/smoother Bad news: Its now near implayable as it studders and lags a whole lot. Is there any setting(s) with any core I can try that can get me better graphics and keep the game playable? I'm using CrossMis Thanks in advance! I am reading capital for the first time and am a little confused about the declaration of exchange value being based on hours of labor: exchange value should not be purely based on amount of labor. For example, image two commodities of equal labor hours, say it takes 1 hour to get 5 apples and also one hour to get wood for a fire, if it’s really cold and you need wood for a fire you will give 100 apples (20 hours worth of labor) to get wood for the fire… so current conditions influence exchange value by changing their need/usefulness but this is separate from use value? Hope this makes sense

2024.11.25 03:30 Moist_Nothing6107 [s2 act 3 spoilers] Episode Seven is what Arcane could've been
Episode 7 was what could've been been like for Ekko and Heimer, but it was also what Arcane Season 2 could've been.
For the first time since watching the show, I felt like things were just right. Not just because of what was happening in the episode, but how it was being shown.
Finally, I could take a breather and allow myself to enjoy the show without forcing myself to focus 100% in fear of missing something. Act 1 and 2 were amazing, but this season was really fucking dense, man.
And Episode 7 was the one bastion of peace that we were allowed. It was just Ekko, Heimer, Powder and Jayce and their feelings. While every other episode had at least 7 different things working at the same time only this episode in the show was just these four characters. And arguably, it was just Ekko and Jayce.
I was so ready for the best finale of all time due to Episode 7, but they fumbled it hard, man.
The whole battle and war was just there for spectacles. 70% of the fight was meaningless, Cait's attack on the cocoon, Loris and Steb's existence, Vi Jinx and Warwick fight, and to be honest, the whole Ambessa's attack felt meaningless because we all know that there was nothing in Piltover that could stop Viktor and his army.
Even if Ambessa joined Piltover, they wouldn't have been able to stop Viktor. At the end of the series, he was veritably a god. He has mastery over the minds of everyone his army touches and his AU encounter with Jayce shows that he will eventually have mastery over Time and Space.
The only things that mattered were: Ambessa's fight with Mel and Cait; Ekko's final struggle; Jayce and Viktor's talk in the mindspace, and the final Separation of Jinx and Vi.
The rest of the fight. Was just there for spectacle. They were there because big season finale needs to have big flashy fight.
Man...
Fuck
And the funny part is, it's not even that bad of an ending. It's really a solid 7/10. But when the rest is 10/10... man, it hurts. It hurts like love does.
The worst part is, I fear I'll deal with this the same way I deal with a breakup hah. I'm literally thinking about this show every minute of the day since Saturday. A week or two later, I'll be better, but still, it'll come to my thoughts over and over.
It's just a shame, it will just be my imaginations of what could've been, not my appreciation of what it was.
