2024.11.25 03:33 MannerConsistent514 display is oversaturated?
Hello! I'm having this issue where the display of my mac is considerably more saturated than my both phone screen (samsung s20 on natural color display) and my tablet screen (xp pen 13.3 pro), all three of which use the srbg color profile. I don't know if the retina display is oversaturating the colors, or if switching from the default gamut to srgb fixed that and my problem lies somewhere else? I've done some testing and I'm certain this is a problem with the display itself, not with exporting the image or the drawing program I use or anything like that. I also can't attach an image for reference at the time of posting, but I can probably add one later if requested.
Normally, this doesn't really matter to me, but since I'm starting up art comms soon, I need to have a good idea of how other people are going to see my art while I'm drawing---I don't want want it to look fine on my end only for everyone else to recieve a product that's washed out.
I'm kinda at a loss on what to do here, and I don't really have experience working with apple products. Does anyone have some advice on what to do, or is this just a normal mac thing I'll have to work around?

Do you consider it a red flag that a boyfriend (of 8 years) refuses to answer this question?
He says it will depend on the situation. I tell him it's not a question about a "life or death situation". I gave an example: all 3 of them want to go to shopping but in different malls. He says he won't let a woman "control him" and he tries to outsmart me by saying he will go to a completely different mall and won't listen to any of the 3 of them. He proceeds to say that only a dumbass would ask this question and that life is not always "black or white" and how I had no idea about how the "real world" worked, which I personally found offensive.
I don't understand how hard is it for men to actually set boundaries especially with the family they come from? Because I know for a fact I'll chose my (future) husband over my (future) son or my father.
ps. Not looking for particular advice/relationship advice. Just want to hear the women's take on this topic since the other subs are filled with misogynistic men. 😮💨
