2024.11.25 04:21 J0EY_G_ I love Snorlax, he won me both Pokemon Red and Silver.
So I had my team going in Silver. Long story short I had 4 pokemon trained 50-60 level. I brought Snorlax along because I had a empty spot. He was level 50 after all when I caught him.
So I was at the very end of Silver. I was fighting "Red" or "Anti-Ash" is what I call him. The final boss in Silver. I was beating Red until I got to Blastoise. Blastosie pretty much spams surf. It took me 3 trys. On my last and final try I pulled out Snorlax and did a hail mary body slam. I paralyzed Blastosie and won. I had only 2 pokemon left Snorlax and Typhlosion.
Snorlax won me the game and I didnt even train him. I love Snorlax. Just letting everyone know how great I think he is in Red/Blue and SilveGold. I think he is the best.
I powered leveled Snorlax in Red and won the Elite 4 no problem. Hes the best pokemon in those games, imo.

Hello everyone, I am currently a 1099 "self employed" person working at an office job. I don't have any on the job related expenses as my employer pays for all the tools, supplies and cars to use. This year me and my wife were denied for a mortgage because I "took too many deductions". I only make about 40k on my 1099 stub at the end of the year. I've always taken the standard deductions while filing taxes because those deductions would exceed my actual deductions. I wanted to see if anyone knows if I'm allowed to take a lower deduction by itemizing my expenses instead of taking a standard deduction. The loan officer actually suggested this to me to "fluff up my income". Does anyone know if this is allowed or a way to go about this? I am aware I would probably pay more taxes but it would be worth it if we could get approved for a mortgage loan. Thank you in advance.

Hey guys recently got onto the AMEX train and am trying to maximize my welcome bonuses,
First I got the cobalt about 2.5 months ago which i use for practically everything, about 2 weeks later i got the aeroplan card which ive just gotten to $3000 for the welcome bonus so that was about 2 months ago, and just recently i got the green card about 2 weeks ago and have reached the $1250 for the welcome bonus.
I am going to hold onto the aeroplan and the green card until the bonuses come through then cancel them both, i would like to get the gold card to get the welcome bonus as well. my plan there is to put all my reoccuring and regular 1x point purchases on that card to hit the $1000 a month for the welcome bonus and continue using the cobalt for food/groceries which i easily hit $750 a month for and just have both of them going simultaneously.
my question is would it be a bad idea to apply for the gold card in the next month or so? would that be too soon or too many cards back to back? I have had no issue getting accepted for any of the other 3 cards and my credit score is 832 so i dont see that being an issue either, i just dont want AMEX or my credit score to suffer due to having too much open credit or too many cards in such a short time.
should i wait until i cancel the other 2 cards to apply for the gold or just go for it now?

I was doubly impressed today when I tested a couple new things that I didn’t think the Portal would handle well, but was proven wrong with a flawless experience.
The first was FFXIV. Everything I have tried on the Portal so far has been single player and I would occasionally get some hiccups and early on, some disconnects. I assumed that streaming an online game would murder my bandwidth usage and make for a rocky experience. That was absolutely not the case.
The second surprise was the cloud gaming. I have been a fan of the concept but never had a quality experience with it. This includes current iterations on Xbox, PS5, phone, TV, Geforce Now on web and dates back to my first experiences with a service called OnLive, which I believe Sony bought the streaming technology from. But again, flawless experience. Love that there’s no need to turn on the PS5 or have to install a game just to try it out. Click, boom, I’m playing.
I hope they refine the Portal quality of life/accessibility a bit. Took me a while to figure out how to toggle between PS5 and Cloud and then again to figure out how to close the game stream. The PS button should be used to open a menu of some sort, but it’s not. Have to use the touchscreen. Also, I don’t see a way to view or track trophies while cloud streaming.

Dear lords of Anbernic, I'm getting a "not enough space" on an empty 1tb sd card, formatted exFAT, mounted as a portable storage on my 406V.
I've looked through the subreddit's topics but not seen something exactly like this. By any chance does someone know what I'm doing wrong?
I can reformat as an android file system card, but then not sure how I can transfer from my PC.

Will passive blocking also drain your stun bar or only active block? Is there something like stun immunity from jugg in the game ( i assume so ) and does that mean you can infinitely block? sounds kinda broken
I saw a node that said 50% increased weapon swap speed - i thought weapon swap is instant? If not how slow can we expect it to be baseline?
How do boss fights work now? They keep changing the system, can you tp out? What happens if you log out during a boss fight?
