Hey everyone,
This is my first day on your sub…thanks for having me.
I have a 2011 XC70 T6 and the active suspension just failed. I’m planning on replacing all four corners, so while I’m at it I thought about a possible lift.
I have read the reviews on a few different companies offerings and many of the testimonials are positive. I would like to know if any of you have done a lift and are you happy with the results? Does the car still ride well? What has changed when accelerating, braking, cornering?
Would you install the stock suspension again or are there better options?

Hello everyone! I'm new to Queenstown and a few weeks ago there was a vendor at the Remarkables Market that's held every Saturday. His table wasn't very stocked, I think i remember him selling chili oil and dumplings, both I would assume were home made.
Anyways, as the title says, I want to find out where I can get more of his chili oil. The stuff was absolutely delicious and I finished the small jar within the week. My thought was that I could come back the following week and just pick up some more though he hasn't returned for two consecutive weeks now.
If anyone has any leads on the guy, that'd be super helpful.
(I also highly recommend everyone try it if they come across his stall. It was perfectly rounded by sweetness, freshness, and a smokey spiciness!)

I've had my 16 inch, 18 GB RAM, 512 SSD M3 MBP for a year now. I originally got this size because I was planning to use it as my main computer, but I decided to build a desktop.
I want to switch to a 14 inch so I have something more portable, but I'm not sure if I should try to sell my mbp or just trade it in.
Apple is offering $1190, and I see it's on sale brand new for ~2k on Best Buy.
Curious how much you guys think I could get for it (and where), or if it's just easier to trade it in at this point.

went to kacey musgraves last night and I was starving but neither my friend nor I drove to the show so we ended up going to chop shop. we got some waters, only I ordered food because they weren’t hungry. when we asked for the bill, she tells us gratuity is already included. I was going to tip 20% anyways but what bothered me is that on the menu, it only says that gratuity is already included for parties of 6 or more. maybe I missed a sign saying that gratuity is automatically added if it’s past midnight or the day of a busy event, happy to admit that I’m wrong! but from where I’m standing, it felt like she was just worried about not making money that night and pulled a fast one. has this happened to anyone else?
again, I would’ve tipped 20% anyways (even though she never checked on us after taking our order), I’m also a server and I know how hard the job is.

I told them I can not they start threatening me. One more thing that has happened initially when I sat in auto told them before hand this is the price they agree and mid way they start saying no ON A MOVING AUTO?? I have complained many times the apps do nothing honestly. Today I had to go po and then hsr my Kannada is broken it’s been only 2yrs I tried to speak he yelled at me so I asked maybe Hindi and I was telling him please wait since there are two stops the payment is 300 for two stops. He kept demanding to pay “waiting charge” for only 2 minutes of wait. Oh god I’m so done I told him I’m already paying you extra in Hindi he started yelling at me saying that I can’t even speak Hindi properly 🤓. Tbh my first language is Telugu when I told him in Telugu he didn’t understand so I told in Kannada he yelled at me now Hindi too. Rn I’m on my way to hsr I have an intrusive thought he will ask more than 300 which I’m paying what should I do? Sometimes I feel like shit in this city not just this ride I have had incidences where I was discriminated cause I spoke in Telugu.

My main laptop is an M2 Max MacBook Pro with 32GB of RAM and a 1TB SSD, and I don’t plan on upgrading it anytime soon. I’m currently learning Japanese and want to start playing some visual novels for immersion, but most VNs are only available on Windows, and text hookers tend to be Windows-exclusive as well. So, I’m looking to pick up a decent used Windows laptop specifically for this purpose.
My main requirement is a laptop with a screen aspect ratio greater than 16:9. At the moment, I’m leaning towards a Gen 1 X1 Nano for ~$450 USD. As a Mac user, I’m not too bothered by the whole dongle life, and the Nano seems to offer good screen quality and extra screen real estate, which is a nice bonus when having multiple windows open. Good speakers aren’t a priority for me since I’ll be using headphones anyway.
