Hi everyone! Two months ago I was in Shanghai because I won a scholarship to study Chinese. I was a little bit scared of it because I was going to be in another continent by myself. After 33 hours of flight I reach Shanghai and airline lost one of my suitcases. I started crying, no one were even trying to understand what I was saying, I didn’t have internet connection yet so I couldn’t tell my family that I was safe. Well, finally I was sick because I had been 5 hours in the airport claiming for my suitcase until I was so tired of not eating, waking all around the airport trying to solve the problem that no one seems to care. UNTIL i started crying so bad because I didn’t know what else to do. So a Chinese worker of an insurance company saw me and help me to solve this. In the airline they were like “oh no, you have to talk with X person”, when I reach that person they said “you have to talk with Y person” and that in an infinite loop. But this man said EVERYTHING but really mad and after that I have my suitcase. So my advice is that first of all you should talk Chinese and then raise your voice. I was so ashamed of crying but when the woman saw that I was having attention because of my crying then they found my suitcase. I had such a BEAUTIFUL experience in China but I also learned a lot how things are done and how to handle this difficult moments. My advice is: you always are going to find someone that can help you but you have to speak up a little bit (for those who are kind of shy like me)

Looking for advice on fellowship versus jumping straight into a position post graduation.
To my surprise, I am wrapping up my IM rotation (nocturnist at a decent sized regional hospital) and I LOVE it. I never saw myself in this specialty previously. Now I am wondering what the best path is for me post graduation.
I am looking at fellowships online and they’re appealing to me. I like that a lot of them have you rotate through a lot of different specialties that I feel I didn’t get adequate exposure to in clinical year. I also tend to struggle with confidence and imposter syndrome, so I think an extra year of training might do my mental health a lot of good. Luckily for me, I will be graduating with fairly minimal debt (<20k) so I feel I can handle a lower salary for a year although ofc this is the major drawback.
Being realistic, how easy or not easy is it to secure a job as a hospitalist (preferably nocturnist) as a new grad? Is it a huge learning curve?
For those who have done fellowships, are you glad you did? After completion, are you likely to get higher compensation in the future because of completing a fellowship?

So today my mom got into another argument with medical staff. I was in the ICU and moved to another area today but I puked on my gown and the nurse left me naked for a few minutes so my mom freaked out and screamed about how the staff is preying on me. She said she is filing charges for sexual assault and I need to be treated with dignity. I think the staff is just busy but I have been treated poorly idk why. I have a lot of vaginal blood coming out of me and my call bell has been on for 36 minutes. I’m sure the situation with my mom isn’t helping but now I’m thinking they’re going to kick me out. Basically the prices I've put are the prices I am basically paying after discount codes and taxes.
Some of the prices you see might be crazy low for example the GPU as I've used capitaloneshopping which gave me like 17.5% cashback on the GPU. I also have 5% cashback on my Amazon store card. I used EDU5 coupon code and some other ones on Newegg as well (I think I used ZIP75).
Basically, this is my whole build. I've ordered most of the parts, I'm just missing some more case fans.
PS: The $0.00 price tag means either I've got it for free or it's a part of a bundle (for example the 7600X3D bundle, it came with the MOBO and the RAM)
