Up until a day ago, I was dating someone whom I recently discovered is taking Valaciclovir every day. He also has multiple tubes of cream with the same name. He claimed it's for shingles, I can't find anything that says someone would take that medication daily to prevent shingles. I'm obviously confused and somewhat concerned. The only reason for someone to take it daily that I can find via Google, is herpes.
A bunch of things had come out lately- mainly that he had a huge propensity for ladies in the SW business up until VERY shortly before we dated. No judgement whatsoever for people in that line of work, but I have always taken safe sex very seriously, and it's a concern. (He also had a long history of drug use & needles.20 yrs on and off) We're both in recovery and have both been clean for over 5 years each.
Is that medication prescribed for the reasons he claims, or do I need to make an appointment?
I had a fairly recent annual (May) and had a std panel done, but according to Google you have to ask for a Herpes test as it's not typically done in a normal panel.

Which app do you use to understand your sleep quality (and is it free)? I use Health to track my sleep but I have no idea if I have enough deep sleep, REM, if I’m awake too often… I have RISE to give me advise to have a good sleep but it doesn’t tell me if I got a good sleep.
Or maybe there is a way to export the data and ask ChatGPT to analyse them?

I have no idea if the devs look at this page at all and actually look at suggestions, but I think a “Bump All” option should exist. Scrolling and waiting for the 3 second cool down can be annoying. I was cat sitting this orange cutiepie and she kept hitting the wall with her paw, like a vigorous tapping. It's so loud you think someone is knocking on the door. She is getting antihistamines as a medication for possible ongoing itchiness (but I never saw her itch), because the vet doesn't know what's going on. I think it may be an anxiety issue, since they live in a quite busy apartment and the cat does not go out. She's afraid of other cats, so much she will pee around the house (spraying) because she saw a cat through a window on the street.
