I love brewing, historically, especially in Standard. Finding the right synergies and/or answers that aren't always The Meta™ but can compete with it is just a blast.
I've only been playing for a few years. During that time and at the beginning of it, I fell in love with Magic. So much strategy. So much personality. So much fun. In that time has always existed "unfair" interactions. But nowadays, even in standard, that feels like the norm. And it's killing my joy for the format.
I don't have the money to play limited all the time so standard was great fun in lieu of a lower powered format. The power level was low enough to rarely feel like the games were over before they started. I like that. A lot.
Enter today and now my favorite format has become what I don't enjoy about etetnal formats. In order to compete even modestly against other decks, I'm railroaded into using strategies that are what we call "unfair" and running with them doesn't feel very strategic. That is a HUGE bummer as the strategy is a big part of why I fell in love with Magic to begin with.
Is this style of highly powerful, difficult-to-stop interactions popular? Is this growing the game? Am I already a Magic boomer after only 4 years? Is this really the way to go for the aspiring premier format? Am I in the minority in thinking that we've gone WAY beyond power creep and the game is less fun as a result?
I don't think power creep is inherently a bad thing. But it's untempered and has accelerated in the last few sets at a rate that is unmatched in my experience thus far.
Again, am I just whining over something I'm perceiving inaccurately? Or is this foreboding sense that the strategies have changed and diminished legit?
Feel free to verbally smack some sense into me. I want to be wrong.

Hello everyone! I was wondering what ppl think of the survivor perks that hinder the killer (aka chem trap, and champion of light). I don't understand why killer hinder effects are like 4% while requiring either mistakes from the survs or once in a blue moon circumstances and then survs just get 50/20% for just chasing normally, especially when there's only 1 killer and 4 survs. Am I missing something?
Pls tell me your thoughts, especially if u play both sides/survivor more, since I basically don't play surv.
Also, I know forced hesitation exists, but it's going to be a wasted perk slot in 90% of games.

  2. Rent the gear in Kashmir
I’m looking for items like jackets, gloves, boots, and thermals. Cost-effectiveness and convenience are key, but quality and warmth are a priority too since it’ll be pretty cold in Kashmir.

I was on a US run on version 1.7.7 (had to rollback as 1.8 crashed my game) and had enacted LF. For quite some time, I noticed that the private sector wasn't building or buying shares resulting in a 187m investment pool
First, I thought it was due to having a small construction sector (as a tooltip told me), but that didn't help.
Apparently, the LF country_force_privatization_bool = yes setting in common\laws\00_economic_systems in the Vic3 game folder still causes LF to be bugged as I read in a months old reddit post
I changed the setting to "no", which disable the forced privatization and restore the privatization button. I then manually put every up for sale, then the private sector finally start spending its 187m investment pool and spam constructions.
So just a public service announcement, if I'm not the only experiencing this bug.

For the past month I am finding it impossible to score headed goals. The player completely miss hit the ball or take the momentum away from the ball. I have tried to switch between simulation and classic gameplay and still have the issue.

I am thinking of pursuing a second MBA from Europe preferably from Germany. I am not flush with money hence the decision to study in primarily German top-ranked MBA colleges like Mannheim, WHU and Frankfurt. (Fees are around 40-50 lacs INR vis-a-vis 1 Cr INR in INSEAD and HEC)
Since, I have a MBA and I work as a Management Consultant in one of the premier consulting firms (Not MBB, but one level lower), how is the job scenario in Germany and elsewhere in Europe?
If not Germany, can you suggest some alternative European countries as well with regards to availability of jobs?

Maybe too early to discuss but would anyone know how to get the GPIO board to power a small servo motor? it's to open and close the currently manual changed top vent, to be activated by filament start gcode between PLA and other materials that need it closed. There seems to be lots of info online and prusa stating the ability to control motor via gcode input but I'm not that smart. I can design a 3D print for the motor to open/close the doors in January on Core One arrival but I have no idea how to connect the board to motor, know what the right motor to use is or do the coding to get it to move the motor or control how far to spin. I can do basic soldering, design and 3D prints. I'm hoping to get an early jump on this feature so no manual top vent changes needed.
