I’m curious to hear opinions on my situation.
I’m a bridesmaid in my friend’s wedding. We’ve been friends for 10+ years, we basically grew up together. We’ve always had a good friendship.
A few weeks ago, I asked her if I had a plus one to her wedding. She told me she was limiting plus ones to engaged/married couples, which I am not. However, I recently attended her bachelorette trip, where I heard another bridesmaid mention her boyfriend was invited. The bride knew I heard it and made a point to say that it wasn’t personal (towards my boyfriend), but that they were limiting plus ones to partners both bride and groom have met. Her fiancé does not live near me and there has never been an opportunity for our partners to meet. I immediately felt singled out, embarrassed, and confused.
Now I just feel hurt. I am in a serious relationship with my long-term boyfriend, so I wouldn’t be bringing some random tinder date to the wedding. I think every bridesmaid has a plus one except me. I’m not really close with anyone else in the bridal party and now I’m worried that I’ll be spending the whole reception alone. Am I wrong to feel slighted by this?
She’s also my first friend to get married so I just don’t know what is normal here.

If you like to share more, I can be a good listener but if you’re afraid of awkwardness, I’m more than happy to carry the convo too.
People think I’m smart but I’m just passionate about what I do so I do it well. I enjoy talking to people who are fighting for what they want in life but if you’re not one of them, please enlighten me because I’ve been told I need to be more laidback haha.
I’ll just share one last random info about myself: Recently I found out that one of my friends had a crush on me in college and I totally didn’t picked that up. There was even a bet of how long will it take for me to realize and the answer turns out to be never lmao. On hindsight it was indeed quite obvious…I hate myself for it because she’s really hot. Point of this sharing is that if I offended you in anyway or said anything weird, that’s only because I’m not great at social norms.

Hello, I’m just going to be upfront and say that I’ve wanted to get my license for years, and I’ve tried everything in my power to make it happen. But at this point, I feel like I can’t do it anymore. I have my permit and have completed my driving school, but my parents have never been willing to teach me—at all. I need 60 hours of practice, but I don’t have any friends or family who can help, and driving lessons are so expensive. Honestly, I’ve just about given up.
I’ve always wanted my license for the freedom it would bring, and now, while I’m in college, it’s especially frustrating not to have it. If anyone has any advice or suggestions, I’d really appreciate it. Thank you!

So long story cut short. I'm 32, unwillingly addicted to quitapine for several years. Right now I have been 2 or so years clean. Chronic anxiety from cold turkey. I was on a dose that would treat psychosis along with other medications have left me permanently disabled to a point. I can mask very well. I have about 6hrs now of masking capability before I start to crash. I've tried 9-5, I just don't measure up to a usual person my age.
I was a sucessfull freelance audio technician and impromptu foh mix engineer. I later took this to a home studio location that was also very successful.
All in all I'm in a place where I'm financially comfortable. But I have this uncontrollable strength to draw. If I can be honest here, I myself will say I'm very savvy at taking an idea to realization. But not without help. Over the years I've found if I can double my workload, we could triple our gains on efforts.
But on a depper level? I'm damn good at what I do, and what I do hasn't seemed to land myself anything productive. Been used alot but I'm the kinda person who doesn't mind all that much. It's human nature I guess.
The purpose of this post is to find ideas.
I have a clothing label on hold ready to release. I have a recording studio in redundancy.
Ultimately I need a friend

I play Planeswalker Teferi as my main somewhat competitive EDH deck and every Edh night or FNM I go to, some people scoop by turn 2 or turn 3 because it's not fun to play against. It's mainly an artifact deck with chain veil. My problem is, I'm not big on playing creatures or putting a bunch of tokens or counters on cards or having to declare blockers and the like. I like combos and blue spells clearly but I'm looking for something similar to my play style but more fun for the table. Also don't want the power level to be full on cedh either. As a side note, when I played modern I was always a tron, infect or burn player. I don't like much interaction. TIA!

What is the best attachment for heavily rocky dirt road maintenance? Our dirt road in our neighborhood is a total mess and I bought a skid steer earlier this year to help everyone out. Basically just cleaning up washboarding and areas where water is crossing the road due to poor drainage.
We are in Colorado and have very rocky soil. Some large compacted rocks. Our dirt road is just the sub grade we don’t have any gravel on top.
I’ve been using the bucket just as I’m learning and it does an OK job but I figure there’s better tools out there.
I like the idea of a land planer with rippers. But is that doing more harm than good ripping up all that compacted subgrade? I worry a land planer without the rippers will just kinda float on top of all the rocky soil and hard, dry packed soil we have.
Would a grader blade be better? Or a dozer blade?
My neighbor has a fairly large tractor with a box grader blade and it basically just bounces on top of the road and does nothing.
