2024.11.25 07:00 Fart-Discount She's getting engaged to someone else
I'm asking here because I dont know who else to ask, I'm feeling lost. What should we do now?
Me (21M) and her (23F) knew each other from discord, we're both currently pursuing last year of our bachelor's.
We live in two different cities.
We've known each other since 2021-2022 but that was only small talk. Mostly her asking for tech related stuff and me helping her out. And we'd keep in touch from time to time.
Well about 2.5 months back I messaged her and it kinda escalated and we started talking a lot. She started sending me good morning texts.
We were talking daily, I genuinely thought it was just us being friends. But the way we were talking so much, I asked my sister what should I do, I don't wanna continue if this doesn't lead to a marriage.
Otherwise what was the purpose.
My sister reassured me and I stayed.
After a while i got to know that she had always fancied me. But never took her chance because I might've said no. I also confessed my recent feelings. We both felt like we had known each other. She told me she never felt this comfortable talking to someone, especially on call.
We played games together, watched shows, motivated each other, helped each other in work and talked and poured our hearts and shared literally everything. We felt so comfortable sharing our feelings with each other.
Now as time went by, i got to know that her family was already looking rishtas. She had gotten 4 proposals that she had rejected because she wasn't ready.
At this point I started having doubts. Her family wants to marry her so quickly, but i wasn't ready. I don't even have a career and not settled. Her mother brought another proposal her distant cousin. She denied by saying she wasn't ready yet. But her family kept saying there is no reason to reject he's from a good family and he's stable.
Well it got emotional she cried and her family let it go. At least that's what they told her.
About a month later, just yesterday they told her the family is visiting their home and we're saying yes to them.
They didn't even ask her, the family came and they parents decided the engagement date.
Before they had arrived she told her mother about me, and her mom got furious that why she didn't tell her before. They're coming home and now you're telling me. And brought "Izzat" into the discussion. Also told her that how stupid she is to talk to someone who is in a different city and a stranger. They also threatened to confiscate her mobile and laptop.
Now it crushes me to know she's getting forced into a marriage like this. She doesn't want it, I don't want it. It's just so hard for us to move on like this. Why is our culture like that. We're both in pain and lost. Not only we're losing a potential future together, but we're also losing a very close friendship.
Tldr; We live in different cities, both in last year of our bachelor's and met online. We liked each other, and wanted to be together. But forced arrange marriage got in the way, she's getting engaged in about 3 months.

2024.11.25 07:00 Fine_Blueberry5498 Special needs individual not getting care needed
I am not the right person to care for this individual. I have no specialized training. I am not equipped. He is stronger than me he physically hurts me. He is a manipulative individual. He touches me in places I don’t want to be touched. He is not getting the care he deserves or needs. When his mother is at work I’m in charge of watching him. He has no 24/7 aide or anything close to this nature. He has choked me a couple times, knocked me down, stepped on my feet, sat on my legs (important to note because he knows I have difficulties sometimes but at least my cane is on stand by if I need it instead of using it all the time), pushed me into things, threw things at me. His mother knows I am not equipped and has said so herself. He is technically a minor. How on earth do I get proof? Important to note I’m pretty much on call to babysit which has left me with no way to get income as they don’t have me pay rent and they get my food for me. I’m currently been applying to jobs even hours I know aren’t going to work for them. (No set work schedule either) I have next to no life. The individual has next to no life. He isn’t really taken places. If they go to the grocery store he’s left home with me and another minor child. I am not a minor but I am also not equipped and I am scared for my own safety and sometimes the safety of others when it comes to this individual. How do I get proof of this? When I’m able to move out I do plan on reporting this to cps. I do think it is worth being looked into. I just need help figuring out what to do and how to get this individual help.

Earlier I was in the arena while playing crystal hunt, and I was using my gravity fist but when I punched npcs in the head it would make there head bug out and not decapitate but rather there head would fall off and there neck would break but still be attached. They'd still get up couldn't figure out why.

2024.11.25 07:00 Naive_Row_7366 I’m getting worse at 3 months
Hi all
My pain is suddenly becoming worse at 3 months of pain and yet only 7 days ago I began to feel much better
I’m doing two of the McGill big 3 and routinely walking between 0.2-2 miles
Laying flat on my front has been a restful pain free position for nearly all of this flare up and get that has now turned into an extremely painful position
There is a change in where the pain is too, it’s mainly came out of my foot and ankle and has became more severe throughout the leg and is especially affecting my mobility in the leg
The only position I’m truly pain free now is sitting on a firm surface
Has anyone experienced this worsening of pain?
I’m so scared. Even with private healthcare the follow up for the MRI I’ve had has been a 3 week wait.
