I have been strongly tempted to get myself the Catrice advent calender because I like the aesthetic of the packaging (inspired by the Great Gatsby/roaring 20s) and I know I would get quite some use of most of the products because they seem to suit my taste and, more importantly, skin tone.
But here's the thing: looking at the products individually, at least 30% would go unused, and the rest are things that I can easily replicate with my existing collection.
So I decided that I'm going to try a buy-your-stash calender. I picked 24 items within my collection, ranging from nail polish or lip liners to individual eyeshadows and maybe some accessoires for my hair or travel-sized shampoo. Ideally I should be able to use those products at least once (on the day they have assigned in the calender).
Have you tried something similar before?

So now the Zionist regime in Israel is boycotting Israeli's news outlets that dissent from the party line, leaning again towards the policies of countries like Russia, Iran (ironic in a way), China and North Korea where independent media is banned.
For context for those not aware, Haaretz, the oldest newspaper in Israel, said there were Freedom Fighters in Palestine (not referring to Hamas, according to the publisher) and previously called Israel's policies as apartheid. The paper has also been a fierce critic of Benjamin Netanyahu for some time.
The regime has now ordered a boycott of the publication by government officials or anyone working for a government-funded body and halting all government advertising in its pages or website. The Interior Ministry announced it would suspend all cooperation and advertising with Haaretz. The Diaspora Affairs Ministry has ceased all funding to Haaretz.
Short question - what is the general feeling amongst Israelis around this development? are you happy to be fed only one version of "the truth" which is the official government party line and nothing else?
My own view: In a thriving democracy or any debate, the answer to an argument should never be censorship or silencing dissent. Instead, it should be a stronger, more compelling argument.
Silencing opposition is not a victory of reason but an admission of fear, suggesting that the opposing view might hold more weight than one is willing to admit.

I tried going to get the Cinquedea behind the Bestial Sanctum, and it wasn't there at the altar where it usually is.
I went after giving Gurranq some Death Root and getting the roar and Bestial Vitality, and after talking to him when he goes berserk. It also seems like the item on the Wandering Noble's body on the same level as the dagger is also missing, but the Ruin Fragments and Sanctuary Stones are still spawning every time I go back. What am I missing?

Howdy folks,
This might be a strange post from an outsider of your community/sub, but I didn’t know this space existed and I’m hopeful someone can shine a more guided and informed light on my search.
Long story short: my grandfather was a migrant to the Caribbean from the Canton area. A stowaway supposedly seeking opportunities outside of China during it’s civil war or in the years after.
As was likely the case with many of these types of situations, there was a loss in translation so to speak when my grandfather registered as a citizen.
His surname was Hung or something along those lines, but he ended up giving himself a Latin name. The romanization of his name in Cantonese was Co Wu.
I’ve wondered for YEARS what my grandfather’s real name was in kanji and what it meant. ¿Anyone have any ideas as to what was said / heard by the folks at the Demographic Registry when they decided to write Co Wu?
Any guidance on the matter would be greatly appreciated. Anticipated thanks y’all.
