I (23 F) recently broke up with my now ex boyfriend of around a year and half. For some context I am korean and he is white. I grew up spending summers with family in Korea so from a pretty young age I started listening to korean music or more simply K pop. I don’t exclusively listen it by any means but it’s something that I really enjoy(and i’m really not looking for personal opinions or hate on the genre itself, i’ve gotten enough of that). My (Ex) Boyfriend took it upon himself at every single chance he could get to make fun of the whole genre of K pop, Fans of it, and me for listening to it. Which is so odd considering he was literally dating a korean girl and would constantly watch and listen to anime’s soundtracks in Japanese because it was “peak”, but no listening to korean music is weird. Got it.
If it was a boy group he would mock me for becoming one of those “deranged fan girls in love with an idol” and if it was a girl group he would tease me for having “Childish interest, I wasn’t a tennis anymore stop acting like it”. If i did things like like replicating makeup styles from idols I liked or learning dances and he would see it I would never hear the end of it. Pretty much no matter what if it was related to K pop he would make “Jokes” about it constantly. God forbid I even attempted to play it in front of him? The world might have ended. I spoke with him multiple times about how him constantly making fun of something I was interested in made me feel uncomfortable and bad about myself, that I wanted him to stop. In response he would just gaslight me and constantly, say that he was literally just making a joke and it’s not that serious, or swear that he would stop and start again not even a week later.
What ended it for me was somewhat recently I went to a concert for a group I really like and he was truly relentless. Leading up to the show he just would not stop joking about it and one time he made a rude comment and I just snapped. Broke up with him on the spot and haven’t turned back. Looking back i’m honestly pretty embarrassed I put up with that treatment for so long.
Were this post comes into play is I was recently hanging out with a friend catching up and the topic of the breakup came up because she knows both of us. She asked what happened and I responded something along the lines of “I felt there was a lack of respect for me, my boundaries, and my interests” and she asked me to explain further and went I did(Pretty much what I said here) she literally started laughing at me. She was really amused and pretty much was like “Omg you really broke up with him over K pop? that’s so stupid! God you’re such an AH good for you I guess” to which I reiterated that it was about the fact that he would constantly mock me and his total lack of respect. She again was like “Mhm yeah sure. Come on let’s be serious for a second that’s so over reacting” still giggling to herself. I excused myself and left early. I just feel insane right now because she didn’t see my side of things even for a second and really didn’t think I was just being dramatic. I mean I know how bad it made me feel, and that I tried to communicate with him about this and it went ignored so I don’t regret ending things with him. But either way I would appreciate others opinions on this, I mean was I just being dramatic? Was I taking it to seriously?

2024.11.25 06:50 megalulzzz Stray for Switch: don’t bother until they fix the bugs
I want to love this game. But several hours in, it started getting buggy on me, and I now feel like I need to stop playing until it gets fixed.
The trouble started with Chapter 7 (Dead End), where the Defluxor would not work no matter how many times I tried. So I Googled it, and the prevailing advice from players on previous platforms was to restart the chapter.
I did that, and when I did, all of the items disappeared from my inventory.
I tried going back to an earlier chapter to see if they would reappear. Nope.
So right now, my only hope would be to start the game over from the beginning and hope that I don’t encounter the same bugs. But that seems like a recipe for disappointment.
Does anyone know if Nintendo intends to fix the bugs? Because the game is unplayable for me now. And I was really enjoying it up until now.

My wife and I went from a DB of YEARS to much more sex of all kinds after we were finally able to communicate and she came to better understand and appreciate how the more sexually selfish she acts, the more sex we ultimately have. I’m just wondering how common this problem is for DB, because I think our experience may help. Hi everyone, I plan to do Calculus 2 (MAST10006) and Chemistry 2 (CHEM10004) this summer semester but I'm a bit worried about the pace.
As I've read in the Handbook, the content is still the same but the time we can do is only a half of a normal subject for both sem. I got 94 and 80 for chem and cal respectively, and I currently work ~20 hours per week.
I want to maintain my H1s, do you think it is fine with my plan or is it too much? And btw can you guys who have done these 2 subjects give me some previous materials for preparation? Thank you so much!

Ok, so I'm a few years out of date on my fishkeeping knowledge, which was also mostly about cichlids. A friend gave me a 5.48 gallon tank, when I mentioned wanting to get a Betta.
As I understand it, that's the bare minimum for a Betta.
So my question is, do I use that for a Betta, and if so, is there anything like snails or shrimp I could add to the tank that wouldnt negatively affect the bioload, but might help eat any missed food, OR should I just save up for a bigger tank, put the Betta in that and save the smaller tank for some shrimp or something? Or perhaps maybe a bug pet?
I'm leaning towards the latter. Honestly I feel like setting up the smaller tank first might ease me back into the hobby a bit before getting a bigger tank.
Guess I just want to hear some ideas and thoughts before I commit.
