So, when I woke up this morning perhaps one of the worst days of my journey in fishkeeping occured. I noticed that my three month old Fluval Spec V had decided it was going to spring a leak at the very bottom beneath the plastic shroud. Water had pooled around the bottom of the tank without any evidence of it coming down the sides and after cleaning it up it began doing it even more.
This was when I went to the only place I could that was open that might be able to help. Walmart. I purchased their bare bones 10 gallon tank and spent the majority of my day transferring and saving everything I possibly could. Thankfully I had a backup sponge filter in the Spec and my heater was already overkill so I don't need to buy anything else besides the tank and a new lid next time I see a suitable one for a ten gallon.
It took me eleven hours to get everything to a point where I finally think I can go to sleep but there's still a lot to do to get things looking like I want once more.
Has anyone else had an experience like this? Pretty much everything is over now, but does anyone have any tips on what to do in the next few days?

Hi guys,
I am planning to take a PTE Academic test for my post study work visa in Australia. I am currently on a student visa. Some of my mallu friends told me that test centres in Perth are quite noisy for the tests and may ruin the reading and speaking section of the test. I will be coming to Kerala for a 1 month vacation so I am planning to undertake the test here. Could someone advice if it is okay to undertake the test in Kerala and suggest me some test centres based in Ekm or Thrissur. I have only appeared for IELTS before but not PTE. Thanks in advance.

Question, I noticed that when I lock and unlock my truck one of the license plate lights doesn’t flash/light on. Only one does, but when the truck is on and both plate lights turn on and work like normal. Any idea what would be causing only one license plate light to flash when locking or unlocking the truck but not the other. Thanks..

2024.11.25 08:51 ppp6arl UK Royal Mail now gives proof of postage when using post boxes
I’ve just discovered the Royal Mail app will let you get a digital proof of postage when you put a parcel in a post box.
In the app go to “Services“ in the bottom right, then “Sending“ then “proof of postage”. You then scan the parcel label and the pot box QR code. It only shows as pending until Royal Mail process it later, but for ebay purposes I’m assuming the drop off time will show and be later validated.
Will make a big difference at this time of year, I’ve already noticed my Post Office has longer queues than normal, so this will save me some time.

I’d like to include two weightlifting sessions per week alongside my running schedule.
For context, I’m experienced with weightlifting, so this isn’t new to me. My goal is to maintain strength without overtraining, focusing primarily on running. I’ll be doing an uppelower split with moderate intensity—nothing heavy or taxing.
Here’s what I can work with:
Session 1:
- Can be on Tuesday or Thursday (as suggested by Higdon).
- Due to my schedule, I can only pick one of these days, not both.
- Can be on Monday or Friday, since these are my non-running days.
- Monday: Two days after the long run and before the week ramps up.
- Friday: The day before the long run.
- Which days should I choose for weightlifting sessions 1 and 2 to complement my running?
- On which day should I do upper body vs. lower body to avoid impacting my runs negatively?

 | Huge storm hit earlier in the year, bigger than any storm I’ve seen, my house went under at the lower level despite being on top of a hill. No previous water ingress since I started living here in 2018. Did heaps of work after the storm, replaced all the gutters, added new down pipes, got the drains checked and cleared of debris etc. dried out the place, was all good to go for putting some walls and floors back in. Fast forward to this week, three days of rain. Heavy, but normal. Water has started coming up through the cracks in the slab, luckily I hadn’t put new flooring in yet but I’m so confused. Is it possible that the huge storm actually did some damage to the slab or is it more likely another issue?
