Our next door neighbour recently hired a contractor to clean their roof with a high pressure guerney. Turns out the roof is corrugated asbestos and we came home to find our house and garden covered in dust. I called work safe to lodge a report as we were concerned this posed a safety risk. Work safe advised me to call the council and EPA which I also did. The council came around and said there isn’t much we can do as they contacted the contractor who denied using the guerney even though it is evident due to all the dust covering our house. They advised that unless we had photos as evidence they couldn’t do anything. BTW he wasn’t wearing a mask or protective clothing!! Work place called me back today to advise that we should hear from one of their team within 4 weeks!!!!! What is the likelihood that the contractor has broken up the fibers in the corrugated roofing when using the guerney and the potential health risk to us??

43, 18 wwks pregnant with third baby, had to slow down on doctor's orders and I feel like I am not able to make my husband effectively help. He's kind and supportive, but boy he can be uneffective when helping... I asked him to cover for me on some house chores (our kids are 4 and 6, can't really help much) that are usually on me but everything takes him ages... and at that rythm he can't keep up with the mess. He does one chore and then needs to rot on the sofa for ages to somehow regain forces... sir? how are you slower and fainter than a 40 something woman with hyperemesis and cardiac issues? He usually did stuff around the house, but always upon my request, now I frankly need for him to step up, look around and take the initiative on what needs to be done. I am SO frustrated.

I've been feeling it in the air recently... finally decided to put it into words: Enjoy the analysis and tell me what you think...!
You can feel it in the air… something exciting is in store for the world of Nintendo, as well as our culture at large. Are we on the brink of a New Golden Era…?
Bear with me as we start talking about tangible things, and then slowly delve into the abstract concepts and cultural phenomena that underly this prediction.
Health oriented values: We start with the release of the alarmo, another reminder of Nintendo's interest in gamifying user’s health and wellbeing. This is an iconic aspect of the company, and part of what makes it so beloved. Think of Wii Fit, Ring Fit adventure, and all the other gamifying fitness ventures that Nintendo has embarked on over the years. While it may seem small, I think that Pokemon sleep, and more recently the alarmo, are reminders that Nintendo still holds improving user’s real world wellbeing as one of it’s values, a strong pillar for a loyal fanbase.
Community + Culture: The advent of Nintendo music is also very exciting and promising. A Nintendo music platform strengthens the fan culture, the community, and the brand. Just like the “tech for health that Nintendo employs,” their music streaming service gives off a sort of person-ability and coziness, and practically, the product itself is great feature.
Next gen console: The foundation of a golden era are already being set by the sense of community and loyalty that these products generate. And the sheer sense of surprise that these somewhat random announcements elicited adds even more excitement to the mix. This buzz is compounded by what users have been talking about for years: the anticipation of it's next gen console. A new chapter is inevitably coming our way...
Mindset change: But what makes me extra optimistic to see what Nintendo has in store next, is this new type of thinking that wasn’t previously found in our culture back in 2017 at the release of the original switch. Flat minimalism and utilitarian design became popular in the 2010’s due to what I think is a redaction to the excessively embellished and “frutiger aero” design era that preceded it. And just as the pendulum swings back and forth like so, I think that in recent years, a new counter culture is growing, this time against flat minimalism. It’s definelty not mainstream in UI design, but I think there is a segment of people that now wish to return to a more personable, involved type of design and dare I say world? Perhaps due to Nostalgia, or boredom, or the distance that comes with the passage of time, I think people will be much more receptive now to a lot of the features that were found in the Wii U and 3ds era. Such as streetpass, system themes, a Plaza, jingles, animations, elaborate UI, and who knows, maybe even something like Miiverse? Pikmin, Tomodachi Life, and Animal Crossing, games which I think somewhat represent this sort of thinking are now more popular than ever.
Since Nintendo is another big corporation who I’m guessing gets their design and UX advice from corporate firms and not Indie fans, then I don’t expect that the next console will be a frutiger aero machine with streetpass and Miiverse. But I do think that interest for these sorts of features and design is much more prevalent now. Even the Nintendo Switch 2 subreddit, the #1 discussion board on the internet for the prospective system, uses a Frutiger Aero theme. You can feel that this mindset becoming more popular with the community... perhaps some of it has permeated into Nintendo’s planning too?
New Era of change and innovation: And of course, one of the most promising things for a golden age is the new era of innovation and economic boom that is already heading our way. Big and exciting changes are upon us, and I think that the future of business, production, and innovation is about to be like never before. And this goes for all companies, not just Nintendo. Perhaps we are on the brink of an overall technological and industrial golden age? With changes in government, economics, and design culture, I’m looking forward to seeing the next chapter of Nintendo unfold, along with our world as a whole.

 | I finally found a decent way to easily remove my MK4 from my IKEA lack enclosure. A friend of mine used to work in electronics for boats and had these connectors laying around. I’m really happy with this solution. The printer is slightly off-center but I don’t see this a as a problem. I am currently on 20mg of Methylphenidate Immediate Release 3 times daily. I obtained a diagnosis through MyPace and during the tritiation period, my dose increased weekly. I found no real effect with the lower dosage except fatigue but a quieter brain. I now find that the medication has helped me function better. I often feel a surge of energy so strong that my mind races and I struggle to organise my thoughts and work out what task to do next. I am obviously supplementing the meds with other strategies to make the most of this motivation. However, part of me feels that I might have taken more time to explore other meds. The consultations are obviously expensive and my current meds are affordable. Perhaps I am expecting too much? I would love to hear others’ experiences. I’m a newly diagnosed mother of 3, 43 for reference. I’m currently on maternity leave so have yet to see how I function in the workplace

So with all these new Co-pilot+ PCs with Snapdragon and what not I cant be the first to stumble upon this. How do you setup a developer machine to debug and run Azure Functions?

Eu tô num momento que não consigo enxergar um sentido na vida. É bem difícil de explicar esse sentimento, é um cansaço da vida, como se não valesse a pena viver. Fico cansada só de pensar em tudo que ainda há pra viver, que a vida é muito longa, que demanda muita coisa, mas não tem sentido em nada. Eu sei o que quero pro futuro (faculdade, emprego, casar, família), mas ao mesmo tempo não me animo pra isso, e até me desespero em pensar que tudo isso um dia vai chegar. Eu queria que a vida acabasse aqui, não no sentido de mort3, mas que continuasse estática, e que o viver humano, para mim, não ocorresse. É também um sentimento que era melhor nunca ter existido, que não existir nada, ou pelomenos não nascer seria melhor.
Também já pensei que suic1di0 seria uma solução mais fácil e mais prática pra tudo, pois resolve tudo, mas nunca pensei seriamente em tentar. Acho que ainda não tenho coragem, e também na minha fé, isso seria um pecado

So I (28f), Healthy, Non smoker have been having loose stools since getting covid last week. My diarrhoea started 5 days ago and it keeps hallening. Yesterday evening I felt ok for the first time and didn't feel the urge to go and this morning didn't go or during the day until this evening where I went and the first part/half of it was dark and really dry then around it/on the other half length wise I had the loose stool again I've been having the past few days. Idk if it's just that my gut is slowly healing and stools solidifying but I am worried if it's overflow due to some obstruction or sinister growth there in my sigmoid colon or something. I am aware I have bad health anxiety but I just need some reassurance right now 😭 does it sound sinister or just cause I left the stool in for a while?
