I had the misfortune of ordering a laser printer from daraz. At the last minute it switched the model number from 107w to 107a. I ordered and paid for it but when I got it , I realized it didnt have WiFi. The order history shows that I ordered twice but the first order got cancelled and I was sent the non WiFi printer. Usually in America it's very easy to return something like this but first they accepted the return but now they are saying that warehouse inspected it and it's the same model number and refusing to give back my money and sending back the printer which will take another 6-8 days. Should have listened to my instincts and gone to dolmen mall instead.
It's 40,000 and not a big deal but theit shitty customer service means it's not worth it to deal with them for big items in the future!

It is now nine o'clock at night and I am listening to "a little less sixteen candles a little more touch me" by fall out boy, laying across my bed in a red lace and satin dress. Emotionally, I'm bleeding out. Physically, I am dry...eyes washed with a shower of tears like a hot depression shower of my sorrows, now dried with the reality towels. I can't help but mourn the sex that we had that never no longer happened.... so much passion. It was so much romance. His kiss was like a punch to the face but instead of pain, it was love.

Skipper picks up the mug hesitantly. "you know you could've gotten it yourself. I WAS busy."
"Ok but your not the one depressed because Jaime might be dumping you!"
"What makes you think he is dumping you?"
"Well he didn't want to come over tonight. He said he wanted to be alone in his dorm."
"It was one date. Maybe he wants to think about it first."
"SKIPPER STFU!!!!!" I grab my hair brush I use for brushing my long black hair that complements my piercing purple eyes and i throw it at her screaming. "SKIPPER JUST GET MY COCOA."
Skipper says nothing and leaves to go make it. I stay in my depression on my bed and turn off fall out boy and put on "i don't love you" by my chemical romance and i crank up the volume and scream along. Jaime is all I can think about and I want him so bad. I don't know if I ever want to get married or if I just want to be like this forever you know like how it was at the bar and on the date.
I get up out of bed after being depressed enough and I put on my torn up black skinny jeans and black converse shoes and blink-182 crop top and I put on my black mesh hot topic jacket and I head out. Skipper brings me my cocoa.
"Heres your cocoa."
"Skipper, what's it freaking look like I'm doing?"
"Leaving?"
"Yah, so obviously I'm not gonna take my freaking mug out where I could break it."
"What the hell Whisper? You threw a brush at me for not making it and now you don't want it."
"Seriously Skipper you need to back off right now because you are such a newsance. Please. You need to stop. I am going to go to the concert in the quad with Jon."
"What??? Are you insane? What if Jaime sees you?? He'll be so upset."
"Sit on it Skipper."
"Srsly!?"
I drink all the cocoa in a mouthful and hand the mug back to her. "There you happy now? I drank your freaking cocoa."
I storm out and go to the quad.

2024.11.25 07:30 fvrtism is there really nothing to do in pullman?

i’ve been set on wsu until recently when i saw many people say how much they hated wsu pullman specifically because of its lack of things to do. i had already heard this and didn’t think much of it because honestly thats just most of washington. i started really reconsidering my decision when i visited seattle and realized how busy it it. i grew up in a very secluded town with nothing to do and im very keen on leaving that behind. uw is out of the question but i can still apply to seattle pacific university or seattle university. the cons for those would be that while its in a busier city they’re significantly smaller school and i really want the typical college experience
i guess what im asking is is there enough to do to not feel isolated? is it just parties? is it lacking in people?
to give you an idea i don’t need to be in a big city i would just like to be able to hangout with friends without driving for half an hour or being able to walk down the street and grab a bite of food.

Since 3 months ago my friend (M27) has got a new female friend and I don't like her one bit. My friend is going through some stuff and he met this girl who also has got some issues - aka he has found someone he can talk and relate with. Which I think is nice for him, but here is the gist:
The girl is engaged and even tho they claim to be just friends she keeps hinting towards sex. One month in and she already wanted to have sex with him, but he refuses because she is engaged.
Now I must add that she claims to be in an open relationship with her fiance, but as far as my friend knows the fiance doesn't know about her wanting to be intimate with my friend.
My friend has told her several times that he doesn't want to be intimate with her as long as she is in a relationship, but she keeps hinting by telling him how horny she is all the time, almost 24/7 or just simply making jokes/gestures while they're hanging out together. It's very disprectful towards him imo. My friend doesn't interact with many girls and is also a bit of an insecure guy and she knows it.
It is as if she has him completely wrapped around his finger. I don't understand what is so charming at all about this girl with how toxic she always behaves (imo). I honestly get the feeling she has got a huge sex addiction or something and that my friend is the 'closest thing' she can get it out from as she claims she can't get it/get satisfied being with her fiance and likes my friend better for having the same kinks as her.
It is also like as if he changes his mind/opinions real quickly. One week he says he is being cautious around her and literally a few days later he 'fully trusts her again'. That's why I feel like he is being enchanted by her or something. I have asked if he is in love with her, but he claims not to be with how he absolutely doesn't want to be involved in any romantic relationship with her or anyone else.
If you'd ask me: if you claim to respect someone's boundaries you won't keep dropping hints to wanting to have sex with them. It's wrong and very disprectful imho. If you truly seek just platonic friendship as you claim it , you won't pull off such things everytime you meet each other.
We fight/argue a lot over this because lately while we've (nearly) never fought over anything as long as we know each other. I am honestly afraid to lose my closest friend over this because I am worried about him.

Right now I am looking at (used) SAPPHIRE NITRO+ RX 5700 XT OC (around 170$) and (used) XFX RX 6600 XT Speedster QICK 308. (right now in a bid for 120$ but may go up above the 170$ range).
Im looking for just really high fps 1080p gaming on comp games, and solid 60ish fps for more demanding games at 1080p as well. no plays to go to 1440p, just 1080p and solid fps. which one would be more worth it? I heard some models of rx5700xt are great and can even match some models of the 6600xt, and i was wonder which one should i get?

I took the PERT test last Wednesday and I opened my test score summary page to find that only one of my scores (PERT-math) is listed with a status of “accepted” (even though I didn’t get the score I need for my dual enrollment classes). 2024.11.25 07:30 Square_Plate5991 So i finally played Cuberpunk

So I finally finished the game and May i say this game made me acknowledge many of my priorities, first off i somehow managed to play most of it blind and the dlc was full blind and i loved every second, every action and most characters.
From johnny’s spite and remorse, to his ideals which are nothing but him coping with a world built in apathy, from his small moments of friendship where he tries for mere moments to change even if its just for mere minutes.
I could go on a whole essay of songbird and her nature, yet how fucked she was by allowing herself to be guilty (which she most likely got from reed) and how she made me realize in a sense i am kinda like Johnny in his approach to retribution.
Reed’s loyalty and his need to try and make sense with Logic to emotional responses that have little to no Logic which leaves him most times that not, not being able to understand why his partners did what they did or why (in some scenarios) V choice to go out in a blaze of glory rather than living a full life.
And the answer i choose to give reed in my playthrough, (or the one i would’ve gave him had i the chance to speak to him) is that there is no greater privilege than dying my way. I am a guy with morals who despite my loyalty, still have my own moments of values>loyalty. Mainly in the last choice to hand songbird to reed, in which i gave her not out of revenge but to put it bluntly, sent her to proper judgement, had she told V before the shit show that was her final mission that there was only one cure i would still probable help her, not out of need but rather out of values. Then she spilled the beans.
Even though yeah I could still live a long life, i didn’t sent songbird so i could live. Lastly dying one’s way is the privilege not many will have, one i considere to be deeply important, which is why i went for the don’t fear the reaper ending, besides, i dont think anyone wants to pull people like panam or rogue at risk (arasaka ending for me doesn’t exist, i sabes goro but that was mainly out of spite so he could witness shit go down) so that makes the most sense as well as the way i played V, was a survivalist but also someone wih values. His loyalty to his friends who risk there necks for him, mainly Jackie, so i levitated more ro that aspect.
I loved this game so damn much, and forgive the essay long glazing i did, i just really loved this game and i apologize for any spelling errors, my phone’s keyboard is all fucked up rn.
