2024.11.25 09:51 LEGOLabyrinth Thoughts after the season finale // only read if you've seen it
I loved the finale and I kind of wish that they keep up this episode's pace with the next season(s). Here are some of my thoughts about the revelations, thinking of small details:
- I'm thinking about the significance of the house in the Polaroid that the camera sent to Boyd. He said only the boat was missing and his family had promised him a boat. He has the keys to that boat in Fromville, so it couldn't have been taken by anyone. My guess is maybe the boat isn't real and Abby tricked him. Maybe Abby was in on it and got sacrificed by the organisation she secretly worked for. As was Martin. They both were marines. Or the meaning of the house Polaroid could be that the boat is the key to escaping and going home. I've had this thought since the beginning, also because the boat theme is recurring throughout the series. It's in one of the songs of the jukebox 'If I had a boat' and the lighthouse has a connection to guiding ships safely to shore. Camden marina was also on the puzzle Ethan was doing, with some boats at the docks.
- Then there's Elgin who got tricked by the witch of the cult that sacrificed the children. Elgin is supposed to be in every cycle to secure the reincarnation of the monsters. The man without the eye drinking the blood was probably Elgin in a previous cycle. Meaning there's also a Sara in every cycle taking his eye.
- If every cycle has characters with the same roles that got reincarnated, it would be like this:
Christopher - Jade
Henry - Jim
Victor - Ethan
Eloise - Julie --> so Eloise is not dead, this still isn't confirmed since Victor found only pieces of 'her'. Eloise is time travelling like Julie! Weird thought: Tillie was Eloise?
Skull drinking man without eye - Elgin
? - Sara
? - Boyd --> seems to be the odd one out but of significance. Who led the town when Victor was there, before all were murdered?
- If Jade is Christopher then Jade needs to go through the tree. That's what the BIW said to Christopher in the past. So maybe not Tabitha but Jade is the one supposed to do something in the outside world.
- Man in Yellow killed Jim and has been focused on Jim the entire series with his radio and phone messages. Why? My guess is that Jim is a pawn to get to Tabitha. Jim needed to stop Tabitha from digging the hole. Jim also needed to stop Jade from digging further into the mystery and working together with his wife. Now that Jim has failed and is actually helping them with his '12 is the key' information, he needed to die. MIY is probably the creature everyone sacrificed their children to, in order to gain the same immortality as him. But, they can only move by night and MIY can move whenever he wants now. I think Jade's melody unlocked him.
- The symbol seems of little importance anymore with what has been happening, other than being the roots of a tree. But, there's always three lines crossing in the symbol. We have now found out that two of them are Tabitha and Jade. The third one is maybe VictoEthan or more likely, the Anghkooey child Tabitha and Jade had. Now all 3 are together, they can solve the puzzel and free the children as well as go home. Another theory for the symbol might relate to the stars: the motel sign in the flashback of the massacre (which is now missing) read 'Star Magic'. Which makes me now think, also because Victor had a lullaby 'Twinkle Twinkle Little Star' which made him feel safe, that the people going through the tree might have to do this at night when the stars are out and in a certain position. The symbol might be a star sign where the lines connect the positions of the stars?
- The cop we now know is called Dani Acosta has still not been linked much to the main plot. It could be she is a reincarnation of Eloise or another important figure that is presumably dead. I think in season 2, correct me if I'm wrong, there's a mention of the car in the pool belonging to two youngsters called Danny and Shay. Danny could be Dani? The cop is the reincarnation of one of those kids. I agree Dani is annoying, but I think there is more to her than meets the eye. Maybe when she remembers what happened before in Victor's time with her car in the pool, she can play an important part in piecing it all together. We all thought Jim was annoying too, but look at what happened to him.
- MIY will go after the next person that is important to solving the riddle. I'm thinking Ethan or Victor.
- Elgin will probably get some form of punishment for kidnapping Fatima. He might go in the box? It will be interesting to see what happens to Sara. She has clearly crossed a line.
- Boyd will have to share with Fatima she birthed Smiley. Fatima is traumatized, might become suicidal or murderous even. I expect her relationship with Ellis to further crumble and she will break.
- The town will need to come together against new villain Man in Yellow, who moves by day and is therefore the most dangerous threat. Nobody knows about him yet, except future Julie.
- There's still something going to happen with the dream/nightmare theme. The word dream is mentioned in EVERY episode. There's a dreamcatcher for Fatima. Three people were caught in a coma by the music box. Lullabies everywhere.

Do they do a full assesment to see if you're a good candidate?
Do they explain all costs & payment plans?
Can they give you an expected finish date pending on your teeth?
Do they sometimes need to remove teeth to make room for realignment?
