After having grown up with a different surname and being addressed in a particular way for more than 20+ years, what made you change your surname post marriage? It is a norm imposed by the society and many just conform to that, but women who have changed or willingly prefer to change by choice, I am curious to understand the reasons behind them. Is it a mark of love/respect towards your husband? Or you'd like to be called that way? Or is it something else?
Doesn't your own identity get lost this way when people address you as Mrs.
I'd like to know your perspectives and how your husband reacted to this when you decided to keep his name.

My Mi 9T's screen died last night. Out of nowhere. 3 years din siya sa akin and dumating na sa point na it was draining too fast before it fixed itself and super satisfied naman ako sa phone na 'yun considering na refurbished ko siya nabili for 8k.
I need a phone for my social media work ASAP. My dilemma is wala talaga sa plans kong bumili ng new phone this year kasi 'yung ipon ko, I was saving it to buy an iPad Air 6 sana by January 2025. So, as much as possible gusto kong makatipid, but at the same time, I really want a phone that can serve me well for a long time. Ideally, mga 4-5 years.
Ito lang naman gamit ko sa phone ko:
- socmed apps (mainly IG and FB for work + Messenger)
- occassional video streaming (YT, Tiktok, the likes)
- reading (main use if i'm being honest) + doomscrolling lol
- taking photos (pero basta decent for socmed, pwede na)
I'm torn between the Samsung A35 and A55. I can get them for like less 5k with the Education discount, pero would it be better to buy sa physical store? Tapos if I don't buy with the Educ discount naman, I won't get the Buds freebie lang.
Please help !! Bili/order sana ako today. Pero kung may iba pa kayong reco na phone, ideally 15-20k (kung less pa, go), open naman ako to suggestions. Salamat!

My wife gets me a hawaiian shirt evey year for fathers day. This shirt has my childrens faces on it from that year so the faces age with every fathers day.
I get strange looks sometimes as well as very unsavoury “Funny” comments like “those faces must be his victims”. I pay no mind and continue to embrace the shirt as I love to wear it because I am very proud to be a father and I like to show that!
Is this wrong?

Is it possible to model a channel filled with fluid that has particle suspended in it? I’m trying to model this any software.
Can ANSYS do this? Or do you know if any software can? Trying to model particle movement through a pip system.

I want to work as a paralegal before deciding if law is for me. Many are telling me it would be hard to get a job with no prior experience, but I would prefer not to spend the time on an internship without a liveable wage. I want to save up a decent amount of money to not have law school debt. Any help?

It's pretty simple really. I'm trying to create a frame that is basically an improved version of the Lean Modern Industrial "Sierra" GMS, being a full License instead of just a GMS frame, taking it a bit towards a StrikeController side. But I need some brainstorming for possible systems or weapons. I was wondering what ideas you might have in mind.
For now my ideas are to make a Main Rifle with an under-barrel grenade launcher and a Heavy Launcher that works as a typical Anti-Tank/Mech Weapon in Squads and deployable subaltern systems (drones) similar to those the Kidd has.
I am taking as a basis a little in the designs of these "Cyclops" from the image of the Attached Link.

My house is on a hill with the house next to mine being higher. My garage wall is on the boundary and it retains the next door garden. In the recent rain water has started to soak through parts of the wall. Who is responsible for this? I’ve mentioned to my neighbour that I believe it’s their responsibility as it’s retaining their land and they have offered to pay for works if I arrange a structural engineer. I believe the houses were originally built like this and I don’t think the garden has been built up later.
