Hey y’all, I’ve got a question. I (24F) have gone on a few dates with this guy(20M), but we’ve been talking for a few months now. I don’t really care to text. I’m good with just using it to make plans even if that means we don’t contact each other for a week or so. But if I do text, I prefer an instant back and forth conversation instead of one drawn out for hours or days.
We’ve been going with his style of texting which is a text a day. We can have multiple conversations going on, but everything will be answered in one text once a day everyday.
Now, my question is, is it rude to not keep the conversation going in between dates? Would that be seen negatively?

2024.11.25 07:58 Floorman1 Lager bubbling stopped 48 hours

I think I know the answer is it’s probably fine but thought id still check.
Only my second time brewing, I did ginger beer first time and despite triple checking the airlock was tight I didn’t get any bubbles.
Thought I’d try a lager this time and it was completely the opposite. It was bubbling like a kettle same day. Next day kept going heaps but then today I haven’t seen any bubbling. I’m sitting around 26-28 Celsius which seems like the sweet spot.
I haven’t taken a reading since the start so I will do that shortly but is it usual to go off so quick? The yeast is whatever came with the lager kit.

Hi guys,
I have a question or am looking for help with my project because I'm afraid of messing something up.
I bought the Mayflash F700X a month ago and am generally happy with it - if it wasn't for the built-in lever. I then bought the Knee Lever Neo without really thinking about how to install it... Now I have both parts at home and have no idea what else I need to buy.
I saw online or in this thread that you should buy the .187 to 5-pin Conversion Harness. Do I need anything else?
Mounting plate, 5 pin female adapter or anything?
FYI: I bought the Lever drunk and now I'm here lol - Please don't be to hard to me

I need input for some considerations: For some years now I hire au-pairs to help with the children and household. They get to live with us in our house for free plus the usual au-pair package. Still, it has been often problematic, bc some au-pairs lacked general motivation, some had little interest for children or they came to Germany for completely different reasons than they initially pretended, like to get health insurance and treatments or solely as a first entry to the EU. Sometimes it was more effort to fulfill their needs than the help they provided. Before you downvote - pls don’t get me wrong: we had great experiences as well. But with both of us working full time we really need some support and not somebody who calls in sick every second day with a sneeze or headaches. So me and my wife are currently a little bit fed up and evaluating other options.
One option might be to lend the space we have (bed room+bath room) to a student for free, who then besides studying keeps the house clean and who try’s to be flexible if we really need somebody to take care for the children (>7).
I do not know at all how much student itineraries have changed since our time at university, but I guess it might be more flexible nowadays with online courses.
Do you think this might be a model beneficial for both sides? Do you think students would accept to live closely together sharing a house with a family?
