The camera is a fucking disaster. Pictures come out as overprocessed AI bullshit. It's a compact-sized heat chamber. Continuous FPS drops make gaming frustrating. As they say you can't game on Samsung. Max brightness gets locked out in sunlight or if the phone gets a lil bit hot. If there’s an ongoing call on SIM 1, SIM 2 shows as switched off to others. What even is this? Battery and SOT. You already know the drill. It’s disappointing, to say the least. 25W charging in 2024? C'mon man.

Honestly, apart from the look and feel, this phone doesn’t behave like a premium device. My mid-range OnePlus was far better in almost every aspect.

2024.11.25 07:36 Deadpool930 S&D Bomb Defuse Time...

Is it just me, or is this bomb defuse time way too short??
I'll be honest I haven't really played call of duty multiplayer since black ops 3 finished it's life cycle. Maybe they've made it shorter in the games since then and I wasn't there for it, but 4 second defuse time is crazy to me. It used to be about 7 seconds if I remember correctly back in bo3, AW, and bo2 (last three CODs I played seriously), and that felt good. Also for the life of me I can not hear a defuse or plant sound que at all, and I have a good hyperX headset with settings dialed in. I remember you could hear that shit like 50 feet away, and it was a distinct sound.
I get that call of duty has become a lot more fast paced over the years, but damn that 4 seconds has cost me some games. Legit have seen games won cause someone gets a defuse before the other players can react.

For context, I live in a country where the economy is so bad, a dnd book would cost insanely high. So I never actually bought any dnd books, and just used online resources. By now, I have been dm'ing for around 5 years, and know the rules like the back of my hand. The only rules I dont remember perfectly are the specific conditions and falling rules, which I look at online. I also know all classes and subclasses like the back of my hand. (Except UA).
So here is my conundrum. I can purchase ONE dnd book, whichever it may be. So I want to know which one should I get? PHB, DMG, TCE, XGE, MM, etc. It could even be some third party book, such as tome of monsters, etc. What do you think I should get?
I use dnd 5e only, btw.

In my opinion, quantum threating is almost come. SHA256 is relatively safe, but ECC can be threaten by quantum computing in near future. p2pk and reused key can be hacked by governance.
Decrypting ECDSA keys with a quantum computer would consume a significant amount of resources, which is why Bitcoin would naturally be the first target.
Are there any solutions other than disabling or burning vulnerable keys? I haven't found other way, and neither has the community.

I am an ED nurse and my friend works on a med surg floor. I had an admit going to her floor the other night so I texted her and was like hey are you getting this admit (to see if I was going to give report to her). She said no but then replied “omg no it’s ___” (insert patients first name). This patient is a super frequent flyer so everyone in the hospital knows her. I immediately panicked bc i’m super OCD about Hipaa and deleted the text thread. I asked her to delete the message too since it made me uneasy. She did and sent me a screen recording showing it was gone. This was approx 6 weeks ago and it’s still stressing me out. Should I have reported it? I’m worried that something will get out and it will fall back on me that I didn’t report it but I don’t want to get this friend in trouble if it wasn’t a huge deal. What should I do?

My wife (Korean) and I have run into a problem registering our baby's name at the 주민센터- he has a first name, middle name, and surname and they're saying that it's too long to register. I can see from searching the group that we're far from the only people to have this problem.... 🤦‍♂️
It seems to be the case that we need to register in the UK, get a UK passport, and then we can register him in Korea with his full name. This is ridiculous. It's 'impossible' to register someone with a long name but suddenly not impossible if they have it written on their passport?
Has anyone successfully navigated this without having to go through the process of getting a UK passport first? We want to register our baby ASAP so that we can get the newborn benefits.
