My son has omen obelisk 875-0084 with 25l case. Was wondering what graphics card would fit in there? Wanted to get him a 4070ti or 4080 super. Anyone know if these cards fit or how can I find out somewhere if they do?
Computer is a few years old and is just as it was bought from Best Buy: 9th gen i7 9000 16gb ddr4 ram 2666 750w power supply 2070 super 8gb 1tb ssd
Pc still runs everything(at lower settings)and would like to get another year or 2 out of it with a few upgrades. Was planning on 32gb ram, new graphics card, power supply, and a 4tb ssd. This is his Xmas wish so hoping it’ll work out and be painless.
Has anyone upgraded this same pc or a similar one with this case and know about graphics card fit? And are there any potential problems with these upgrades or have any recommendations? Thanks

Hi guys,
I’ve only used vr like once in 2016 and then once this summer. I’m interested in maybe getting a meta quest 3 or 3s for Black Friday. Context: I am mostly wanting it for gaming, but I’m currently not a gamer really at all tbh, I play Roblox, sims, animal crossing, that kinda deal. I’m worried also about motion sickness issues, although when I used vr this summer, I had no problems (but in 2016 I got pretty sick). I also do not own a PC if that’s important. I also wear glasses.
Do you guys think VR would still be worth it for me to buy, and if so, would the Quest 3 or 3s be more worth it to me?

Eu praticamente venho aqui desabafar porque eu me sinto muito mais acolhido aqui do que em outras comunidades, parece que me dão ouvidos nesse lugar.
Bom, meu relacionamento não tava indo muito bem por uma série de problemas, terminar é questão de tempo, enquanto isso eu continuei minha vida normal, sou um cara de poucas amizades mas amizades fortes, costumo construir laços e fiz isso pouquissimas vezes na vida.
Acontece que um amigo meu decidiu nesse ano repetir, não estava nas melhores situações e ele se deu esse "luxo" de simplesmente não ligar mais para a escola. Nessa segunda chamaram os pais dele, e eles decidiram por tirar ele da minha escola. Eu realmente amo muito esse amigo, sou extremamente grato a ele, pois nessa escola eu sempre fui deixado de lado por todos, e nossos gostos e historias se entrelaçam, eu não me senti um estranho ou um idiota com ele, nunca mesmo, a namorada dele e eu sempre ficávamos no nosso canto da escola rindo de tudo e desabafando sobre a vida ou filosofando, eu simplesmente podia ser eu mesmo.
Ele ainda ta ai, ta vivo e tudo mais, mas só de saber que eu vou estar sem minha namorada e principalmente, sem meu melhor amigo ano que vem, e pior ainda, num ambiente incrivelmente pesado que minha escola é, eu sinto medo, me sinto inseguro, e estranhamente abandonado, não por ele, mas pelo mundo, é como se eu não pudesse, é como se eu não fosse permitido estar entre as pessoas, e honestamente, eu adoro ser um "estranho" do que mais do mesmo.
Mas é isso, ano que vem é meu ultimo ano, e eu realmente me sinto muito abalado, estou muito triste por tudo o que vem acontecendo nos ultimos 3 dias, minha vida simplesmente virou de cabeça pra baixo em questão de horas, não sei o que eu faço, me sinto ansioso e sem chão, é incrivel como os problemas nem sempre são só notas ou manter uma frequencia...
se alguém ja passou por alguma coisa parecida ou tem algum conselho, eu peço ajuda msm

2024.11.29 00:12 Helyx_R The ROG Ally is amazing, however, the official dock should be banned

I would strongly suggest to avoid the official ROG Ally dock from Asus. I got mine about a week ago, bought it because I thought it would be very nice for using the device while I’m in bed so that I can charge it and also use the sony earbuds adaptor without having too many cables in the console.
Oh boy was I wrong, I saw a lot of people complaining about this dock but I thought that the problems sure have to be fixed by now.
Long story short, the dock completely fried my extension cord and itself after charging the device for about a minute. Thankfully the Ally is fine and still charges just fine but this might be due to the fact that the extension cord that I was using was a pretty good one and it did it’s job, too bad it had to be sacrificed in the process.
My case was an extreme one I imagine however a lot of people said that either the cable that comes with the dock is faulty, or the actual dock just stops working out of nowhere.

I took Anatomy 1 and 2 at community college worth 8 credit hours total. It was 200 level. The lab portion focused on the anatomy part, the lecture portion focused on the physiology part. We went into a lot of depth into every system in the human body. For example, on the cardiovascular system, we learned every part of the heart, and I mean every part. The valves, the different layers of heart muscle. We went into a lot of depth about reading an ecg. Learned about all the intervals and segments of the graph and what exactly is going on in the heart with each interval. The function of all of the parts. With the renal/urinary system. we learned about every part of the kidneys. went into depth about bowman’s capsule, glomerular filtration rate and its relation to blood pressure. All the different parts of the loop of henle and what each part is permeable and impermeable to in relation to water, sodium, etc.. The renin/angiotensin system and all the effects that has. All the crazy amounts of hormones involved in the digestive system and the stomach and the function of all of them. Then, of course we had to study the histology of all the systems, etc.. etc.. etc.. I kinda just went on and on, but my point is, we went into A LOT of depth. I’m about to have to take another 8 hours of anatomy in a biomedical science program i’m starting, but it’s 300 level. I’m just wondering how much more in depth could it possibly be with anatomy? I mean we learned like everything. Has anyone taken a 200 level and 300 level anatomy course? What else do you go into in a 300 level course?

I’ve shopped at AliExpress for years but the last few months seem to be problem after problem. The seller told me they didn’t have the item in stock but instead sent me a pair of doll socks as a free gift? The socks arrived today. Do I still confirm that I received them even though it is the wrong item? I have a screenshot of the seller admitting that they sent a different item. Is there still a chance I won’t get a refund? This is the first time I’ve experienced a seller not sending the correct item. All these recent problems are so disappointing that I don’t want to shop with AliExpress anymore. I make/sell embellished clothing using craft supplies from AliExpress so it’s a big deal for me.
