 | Any advice is welcome! I have this fabric that I want to make curtains out of. I'm worried because it has some stretch up and down. Barely any stretch width wise. It's pretty thick fabric. What can I do to prevent the stretch? Interfacing is probably the answer here, but what kind? Can I put strips of some kind of stabilizeinterface along the length of the fabric where the clips will go? Since interface for the whole surface is $$$. 2024.11.25 09:29 Repulsive_Dust_9900 [s2 act 3 spoilers] Thoughts on my beloved Arcane
This is a semi rent, only because i loved the show and i need to get this out of my system. I may see things in the wrong way, but still, these are my opinions. I played league of legends, i had basic ideas on the characters, and i loved the show. However:
I dont agree with the we should have had 1 or more seasons, i feel like there should have been an ACT between episode 6 and 7/8, however you want to move episode episode 7. #I hate multiverse/timetravel elements, i think its just a lazy plot device that we went to the future and saw things so the character usually goes 180. I know this was a beautiful episode, with Powder and everybody who we are missing, but plot-wise, the only thing happened is Ekko realizing he gave up on PowdeJinx too soon. With having to tie up everything in 3 episodes, they made a semi "filler" episode out of episode 7.
The reason why season 1 was great is the Zaun-Piltover conflict, and the family issues of Jinx - Vi - Caitlyn (Zander - Silco). They kind of expanded on this in ACT1, then it never came back.In season 2 ACT2 they doubled down on the Jinx VI relationship, and it became the best act in the whole show.
So we had 2 episodes left to wrap up everything, and this made it end in a bad taste for me. My favorite character was Jinx, so i might not be objective here, but i am trying to be:
Vi honestly never really tried to have an honest heart to heart conversation with Jinx, and in my opinion it would have made a great episode if they just reflected on Silcos letter, Isha and their relationship in the cell. I get that Jinx punched her and went away, but do not tell me it was not obvious that she was gonna off herself. I get the counter point, that Jinx is not easy to talk to, or a terrorist(acting like using gas on a whole city is not), but seeing/hearing your sibling depressed, suicidal, and your first reaction is to have sex? Jesus.
Where was the Jinx Ekko talk? Jinx rallying Zaun? She was literally filling the shoes of her past fathers(Silco, Vander, + parents) in that sense, uniting Zaun.
I dont see dying/fake dying as breaking the cycle. Jinx changing and admitting her wrong doings IS literally breaking the cycle. Take responsibility for your actions. Apologise to the love of your sister, you saved them in the battle, serve your time. How is that not breaking the cycle?
Also her "death" was dumb, why not sacrifice herself up in a meaningful way in the middle of the battle when all would be lost or similar to that. To me, it feels like Viktor is gone, but the writers realize they forgot to kill Jinx, so WW revives.
Also, what was Ambessa's plan? Creating Skynet apocalyptic Viktor serves her purpose how exactley?I dont even want to expand on WW, the character was spit on. I feel like S2Act3 writers were different then before.
I could continue with other characters, their story wasnt give enough time as well, i just focused on my favorite ones. Anyway, i am human, i could be wrong, but these are my feelings currently.
Also first post in my life after reading reddit for 10+ years, this show made me do things like this.

Hey guys, sorry but this will be a bit of a rant 😅 Does anyone relate?
So I am about to hit 9 weeks pregnant, we told our immediate families at 6 weeks. We made the decision not to tell grandparents, aunts & uncles as we wanted to wait till 12 weeks, we also thought it’d be nice to announce at Christmas with everyone there!
For context I’m already not the biggest fan of my in-laws. They’re alcoholics who never looked after their own kids & think they get a second chance with their grandkids 🙄
Their first grandchild was born this year & the parents have had a nightmare dealing with them. Constant complaints over every decision they make for their child, showing up at their house unannounced & being annoyed they aren’t waited on hand and foot.
I’ve warned my partner I won’t be dealing with that as a FTM, I usually bite my tongue with them but I draw the line when it comes to my baby.
Anyways, back 3 weeks ago we explicitly told every person who was informed of my pregnancy. “Do Not Tell Anybody” Yesterday we visited his family for an event, some family friends were there along with some of his extended family. As soon as we arrive they come over to congratulate us. I honestly didn’t even know what to say, I went to the bathroom and had a bit of a cry, I was raging! I haven’t even told my own grandparents but his parents felt it was ok to tell the town? I feel beyond disrespected 🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️
My partner usually stays out of all drama but this hit a nerve for him too, we left quietly as to not cause a scene & that evening he sent a text into his family groupchat making it abundantly clear we were pissed off, it was inappropriate, disrespectful & not to tell anyone anything further. His siblings all messaged to check in but his parents just left him on read.
I’m even more disgusted with them now, how could you not even pick up the phone to apologise! I’ve told my partner I don’t want to tell them any further updates, I don’t want to visit & I have just silenced the group chat.
I’m sitting here after my partner has left for work and can’t help feel a little guilt that have I put a wedge now between him & his family? My emotions are all over the place and I don’t want to be the AH in this scenario😭 Can anyone relate 🥲

Hey so, i love jayce. I loved him since s1 of arcane dropped - that's when i first downloaded wild rift. Back then i ended up letting jayce go eventually, in favor of riven and orn, but now with s2 and the new skin, I'm back in his arms, and loving it.
I've been handling my matches decently, have quickly gone up in rank, and even in losing matches i basically always carry with him. 68% wr atm.
However, i wanna go higher and there's plenty I don't know -
What are his bad and good matchups? I atm perma ban heimer, and fair well enough against most tanks. But I don't know what he is good against or not - a matchup sheet would be great.
Secondly, his build - currently i just go for a mish mash of burst dmg items and pierce ; basically i just go to one shot everyone asap, with tons of movement speed. Is that the way? Does he have the possibility to go on hit? Or crit? Or a more tanky, skirmisher build?
Any help is much appreciated
