Hi, my printer IS a creality Ender 3. My slicer IS cura. When the printer start to print, the printer tries to start in the left side(outside of the bed). Its something rare. Anyone can you help me with this? I've tried to configure the gcode in cura to modify the dimensions of the bed and the first place works but more later if I try again, start again to do the same.

We had great weather and great excursions in the Edinburgh/Glasgow area during our week's vacation, until we had to go back to the airport on Saturday.
It started snowing in the morning and despite leaving the apartment early we had problems getting around in the rental car within the first few meters. We couldn't turn left. The only option was to turn right. Until we couldn't get any further there either. Neither forwards nor backwards, we were stuck. With no cell phone reception or internet connection. So we left the car and made our way to the nearest house. In the photo you can see the first road sign that we saw and that we photographed for the towing service. We walked on and still had no reception and therefore no way of contacting anyone.
At the nearest houses, we saw someone sitting in a car, ready to drive off. We walked over, not knowing at the time that we had met exactly the right person at exactly the right time. A man in a company sweater - as we later learned, his own small business. He gave us his cell phone to call the rental car company and let us into his car to warm up. He agreed to be available to answer questions from the car rental company but didn't have a good feeling about the whole thing. Which is why he drove us and another man with a tractor and his car to our car, where they tried to pull us up the hill and escort us to a passable road. However, this was not possible due to the poor condition of our rental car. However, we managed to drive the car back and so we drove back the way we had come from - with him in front. We also got a medsage that the towing service could not get through to us. We ended up spending 3 hours on the road for what was actually a 20-minute journey. BUT we made it to the airport on time and that was only because this man took us down different roads until we finally made it onto the highway. He was even pushing us one time. So many times we skidded, took a "running start" and still didn't get any further, had to reverse out again. And he was with us the whole time.
I hope I'm not breaking any guidelines, but he didn't want anything in return, so it's the least we can do: If you live nearby and are able to, please support his small business. It's "Linlithgow Logs". If you can't and you live there or even know Neil, spread the word, spread some kindness. We will be forever grateful to have met him and we will also share this on FB, to hopefully help him out too.

2024.11.25 09:40 Hooded-Archer First Time Builder: Help with Motherboard and Ram
I hope everyone's day is going well. I was seeking help creating my first PC build as I'm not 100% in the know with all the technical knowledge for buying parts and what parts go well together. I don't know if certain components will bottleneck my PC or if they're compatible. I was looking to build my PC this holiday season to really take advantage of deals and build a better computer than I otherwise wouldn't be able to. My hope with balling out on this PC is that it will last me some years to come without needing to upgrade anytime soon.
Here is what I have so far:
Parts List:
- CPU:
- Ryzen 7 9800X3D (Hopefully I can snag one, however, I am a bit doubtful.)
- If I can't grab one, I'm considering grabbing a Ryzen 7 9700X or a Ryzen 9 9900X. (I've also heard it's hard to snag a Ryzen 7 7800X3D right now, so I'm trying to bet on other in-stock CPUs.)
- Ryzen 7 9800X3D (Hopefully I can snag one, however, I am a bit doubtful.)
- CPU Cooler:
- be quiet! Dark Rock Pro 5 CPU Cooler
- Motherboard: I'm unfamiliar with motherboards and am unaware of which will work best for my needs.
- I assumed it would be best to try and pick up an X-series motherboard for the 9800X3D. Plus I'm looking for 3+ NVME M.2 Slots. I'm unsure if I should also help broaden my search for more motherboards with only 2 RAM slots; I know many people recommend only using 2 sticks of RAM for today's builds. I don't know why that's the case, (my friend who knows more about computers told me to do so.) Additionally, I don't know if I should try and get an X670 or X870 motherboard or aim for a B650 of some sort. I've heard you don't need an X-series motherboard if you aren't planning on overclocking, (which I'm not); but I wasn't positive that the Ryzen 7 9800X3D was supported by the B650 motherboards.

- XFX Speedster MERC 310 RX 7900 XTX
- Memory: I would pick up some 2x32GB 6000MHz RAM. I don't know which brands are more reputable or have issues.

- TeamGroup T-Create Expert (2 x 32GB) DDR5-6000 CL34

- Do people still use boot drives and is there any reason to do so? Also, should I invest in two 4 TB drives for only $100 more rather than getting the 2 TB drive?

 | Hey everyone, I just got my hands on the MSI Optix MAG274QRX, and I’m absolutely loving the 2K resolution and 240Hz refresh rate! The performance is buttery smooth for gaming, but I’ve noticed that the colors don’t feel quite right out of the box. I want to get the most accurate and vibrant colors possible for both gaming and some light content creation. Does anyone have experience calibrating this monitor? I’d appreciate some tips or even recommended settings for brightness, contrast, color temp, and any RGB tweaks. I don’t have a colorimeter, so any suggestions for manual adjustments would be awesome. Long story short our house was built by porter davis 3 years ago who went bankrupt last year. Afew months ago our house started leaking during windy and rainy day. VMIA rejected our claim when we asked them to come fix it so we got our private insurer to fix this. Again this time other side of our ceiling in yesterday’s rain. Im gonna lodge a new claim. Can i take VMIA to court if they reject me again ?
