As we all know, Trump undeservingly won the 2024 election and he absolutely shouldn't be in office in the slightest. He's fascist, perverted, bigoted, misogynistic, homophobic, racist, and of course a felon. The fact he won against a hardworking woman who cares about democracy and the safety of Americans really shows how misinformed and bigoted a lot of American voters are. Kamala wasn't perfect, but at least she respects the law and isn't a felon, and she fights for American democracy.
Trump's second term is gonna be much more devastating than his first term, since Trump's MAGA cult is getting a lot more control of the US government and SCOTUS is allowing Trump, an extremely incompetent guy, to do whatever the fuck he wants, and that will without a doubt create disaster. There's also Project 2025 which is MAGA's plan on turning America into a Christo-fascist dictatorship that completely fits their backwards agenda. It will likely happen without a doubt since like I said earlier, MAGA is getting complete control of the US government. Trump's cabinet picks are just as incompetent as Trump himself and absolutely should not be running this country, and Trump is already planning on mass-deportation, even amongst American-born citizens, and just decided to ban transgenders from the military.
Oh boy, the future looks abysmal for America. We are gonna see really bad cultural changes. I am super concerned and I can't help but feel like all hope is lost for this country now. At this point, the only options are to riot or flee the country before Trump harms us with his Project 2025 agenda.

Currently I am a first-year computer student from Mapúa, katatapos lang ng 1st term, and I plan to shift sana sa Nursing/Pharma sa ibang school. Kaso mostly ata next year pa ang start, pero afaik tumatanggap ang Pharmacy ng Trinity University for transferee ng 2nd term. Ang worry ko lang, what if hindi ako tanggapin? Edi naka-tengga ako until enrollment season para mag-apply sa other schools, which is probably around May or June pa. (Takot ko rin kasi bagsak ko subject ng College Algebra 😣 pero halos uno naman lahat sa other subjects.)
Ang plan ko sana, kung sakali, enroll pa sa Mapúa pero take nalang yung units for GED subjects and NSTP. Kaso idk HAHAHAH. Tbh kung sakali naman, I can continue with my course, kaso parang it’s not for me lang eh. I’m doing good naman with the programming subjects and stuff, kaso parang mas sasaya ako sa iba? I’m not sure din naman if sasaya ako sa Pharma/Nursing, pero once na ginawa ko na mag-shift, syempre I have no choice narin but to continue kasi sayang ang time at pera.
And I think I can find ways naman to be happy kasi sa family ko doctopharmacist ang profession, and parang may balak din akong mag-doctor if ever. Idk din how to tell this to my family, baka isipin nila di ko na alam ginagawa ko sa life, which is true rin naman HAHAHHA.

Just wanted to put this out there as my partner and I are deciding where our next (rental) move will be. We currently live in a 1BR apartment and want to move to a 2BR - have been seeing that the prices for townhouses vs. apartments are similar. We like the convenience and low maintenance of apartment living but sometimes wish we had more space.
Assuming the choice is between: A 2BR Apartment 15-20mins from workplace Vs. a 2BR townhouse 30mins away from workplace (Assume both are in relatively okay neighbourhoods, nothing too posh but generally safe minus a few issues that can be ignored)
For those who have gone through a similar crossroad, what made you decide to go for the choice you made? Pros and cons of your current living situation?
I know this is very dependent on the renter but just wanted to see general thoughts that can help us narrow it down!
