My baby started his life on ready to feed similac bottles through his short NICU stay, then we started powdered formula (similac) while I learned how to pump etc and basically baby was exclusively fed pumped milknonce I got the hang of it. My supply is really going down and LO is just 4 months old. I am almost finished with my frozen stash and I'm not making enough.
The similac RTF and powdered formula made my baby super sick once I tried restarting him (new fresh batches). Tried ailmentum and he absolutely refuses to even take a sip. I know that stuff smells ungodly but I'm at my wits end. Is there any formula that does not taste and smell like ass?
I've even tried breast milk + formula mixtures and they just don't work. Regular stuff makes him sick and ailmentum just makes him cry. I don't want to spend hundreds of $ going hit and trial. Does kendamil smell okay?

I have a stomach bug, I've been throwing up all night, my directors do not actively help find coverage so because no one responded to my pleas for help I'm expected to come in until 9 while actively throwing up. This is the same director who was out Thursday and Friday because she was sick, she also only works 6 hour days and despite being a teacher who transitioned into being director she doesn't step into classes.
It's just so embarrassing to literally beg and plead while throwing up knowing that you'll still have to go to work.
Like I go in at 730, partner doesn't get there until 830, kids start arriving at 745. What do I do if I need to throw up with kids in my room?

Devotional: Eternal Promises: Hope in the Afterlife Scripture Reading:
“And this is the promise that He made to us—eternal life.” – 1 John 2:25 (ESV)
The world can sometimes feel bleak, and it’s easy to lose sight of the bigger picture. We may question our purpose or the meaning of our suffering. Yet, as believers, we are anchored by the promise that our lives extend beyond what we encounter here on Earth. In Christ, we have the assurance that our lives are imbued with hope that doesn’t fade, even in the darkest of times.
Reflect: Take a moment to consider what eternal life means to you. Does it mean reuniting with loved ones who’ve gone before? A chance to dwell in God’s presence free of pain and sorrow? Or perhaps it’s the fulfillment of dreams and desires you may have struggled with in this life. Whatever form it takes, the essence lies in knowing that God has a beautiful future prepared for us.
Jesus speaks of this promise in John 14:1-3, where He comforts His disciples by saying, “Let not your hearts be troubled. Believe in God; believe also in me. In my Father’s house are many rooms… I go to prepare a place for you.” How comforting it is to know that God is intentionally preparing a place just for us! It reflects His love and desire for us to be with Him eternally.
Rejoice in His Promise: As we meditate on eternal life, let us rejoice in the freedom it brings. We can release our anxieties about temporal matters, knowing they are but momentary trials. Romans 8:18 reminds us: “For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worth comparing with the glory that is to be revealed to us.” The hardships we endure today are but stepping stones towards an everlasting life filled with joy, love, and peace that surpasses all understanding.
Pray: Today, let’s pray for a renewed sense of hope. Heavenly Father, thank You for the promise of eternal life. Help me to fix my eyes on the things that truly matter. In moments of doubt or despair, remind me of the glory that awaits me with You. May this hope fill my heart and spill over into my interactions with others, so I can share the light of Christ in a world that desperately needs it. Amen.
Take Action: Make it a point this week to encourage someone who might be struggling with feelings of hopelessness. Share the promise of eternal life with them, and let them know that there is a beautiful future awaiting us all. Invite them to join you in worship or to talk about faith. Together, we can strengthen one another in the hope of what is to come.
