2024.11.25 12:26 Mr_Chabowski Do you guys properly level every character, or just the party members you know you'll use?
On my first couple of runs I fully built everybody up, even if I stopped taking them on missions. It only paid off during the character-specific quests where they're always present, and it's kind of a hassle. The level ups are starting to pile up on everybody who stays on the ship, on my current run.
This system still hasn't quite clicked with me, to the point where I can know exactly which talents and abilities I want without thinking, so I spend a bunch of time reading and considering my options when it comes time to upgrade. How does everybody else handle it? Do you ignore the "level up" badge on non-party characters? Do you just pick upgrades at random to spend the points? Or do you properly level everybody into a functional build?

So i have been playing the Shining series since the early 90s. Now I'm very aware on the Genesis console that randomly (seemingly for no reason?) when you load up the game a file will be deleted.. Frustrating as hell. I just downloaded the Genesis collection on my Switch and I'm trying to do "perfect" (ish) play through. Has any one experienced this file deletion on the Switch?

2024.11.25 12:26 Grad2031 How Would You Rank Each Area in both the original RE4 and Remake?
For me, in the OG, I would rank them Village=Castle>Island.
In the remake, I would rank them Village>Island>Castle.
Both versions of the village are excellent and probably my favorite section of both games.
The OG castle was my second favorite area of the original game due to its creepiness and elaborate rooms. In the remake, it was unfortunately my least favorite area because I felt like they rushed through it and streamlined it compared to the village.
The OG island was my least favorite part of the original game (except for the Regenerators and the U-3 and Krauser fights), but ended up being my second favorite in the remake. It felt like they really put a lot of effort into improving it compared to the castle.
What about you guys? How would you rank them and why?

It's not overly good, but the runes are nice, yet I know that max hp decrease isn't additive but multiplicative. -Eclipse isn't as good as it sounds on paper. Given that it does 45% extra damage on an attack BUT that 45% is divided by the percentage of hp that an enemy has remaining... so 50% remaining hp ----> 22,5% extra damage. I recently got into a long distance relationship in June when visiting another country and now I came back to visit again for 2 months and also take care of personal business as I am a national for that country by my mother. 1 week into the trip and she breaks up with me because she sees me as a friend now. That week was a roller coaster because 2 days before she says that she has never been this happy or have never been this much loved. The breakup might be both of our faults but I felt that she didn't respect me and I called her out for it and the next day she wanted to be friends. I am kinda sad and don't know what to do with myself. I think I have a little social anxiety for being in a foreign country where I am not very knowledgeable about the language. I tried going out with my aunt and yesterday to eat but I almost broke down during dinner. I have 7 weeks left to be here and also a hotell that I booked on a holiday resort for us that I can't cancel. Does anyone have any advice to handle this? I am not a perfect person and I have my weaknesses and insecurities but I try to work on them.
