 | I just bought the Pilot Kakuno pen because it was inexpensive, people said it was a great starter pen, and I wouldn’t be mad if it got messed up with shimmer. Immediately, I noticed that the shimmer collected in the channels, it was writing but I could see globs of it just sitting in the part before the nib. I didn’t know what to do😭 I hopped on here and learned that you need to shake it gently, roll it, and/or play with it between lines. I did that and still couldn’t see anything happening on the page so I used my flashlight to try and see more closely! 🔦 There it was. I realized the nib is simply too fine to see the shimmer properly, and I think I have 3 bottles of shimmer inks and 6 samples🤭So guess who just ordered dip pens and wider nibs? I will be receiving a Hongdian with Fude nib, Jinhao M nib Heartbeat, and Sailor Hircoro dip pen (with a judicious pause before buying an Opus 88 Cherry Blossom 🌸 in case they go on sale this week!) I’ve had a MB for decades but only ever used their cartridges. Having ink bottles, filling pens myself, and trying ALL the things is such a fun adventure! I’m only into this new obsession a few weeks and am having a complete blast! Being someone from Bangladesh, which is considered a poor country, it's very hard to find opportunities to study abroad. Firstly, the international student fees - WILD. My family can never afford to pay so much. Secondly, scholarship opportunities - full ride scholarships for undergrad are so rare. And because of my nationality, I'm not given the same amount scholarship. For example, ANU gives South East Asians up to 50% in scholarships while South Asians have to settle for 25% (I asked the counsellor about this). Bangladesh also doesn't seem to have any company scholarships or give much government loans.
I find it a bit of a bummer cause I did really well in IGCSE (11 grade 9s) and currently studying in A2. It was a dream to study abroad in UK/Australia/EU but it seems pretty unfeasible at the moment.

where is humanity? where is tolerance for all? i understand utopia is a fictional concept but we can come closer to it in some practical terms
why don't we try for it? why cant we live a simple life, with peace and harmony? let our actions harm none but benefit all?
why is it necessary for evil to be on par with good to balance out life?
why can we eradicate evil completely but again its impossible?
iam so full of doubts over my religion (i started to learn it) iam so full of hate for my country (where no one is safe)
i hate people around me (who are like a ticking time bomb, ready to explode)
