My other half left this world a week ago Sunday. We had such a wonderful night before. Had pizza and finished our favorite show. Held each other that night as usual - told each other I love you at least a dozen times that night. That morning he collapsed and died at our ranch. By the time the ambulance arrived, they were able to recover a pulse but the bleeding on his brain was too significant to help. He’d been my other half for 25 years and 2 months. I was 17 when we met, and we fell in love instantly. He was the best parts of me; calm, kind, reassuring, strong. We couldn’t have kids but we always had each other. Now, I’m here trying to figure out how I go on and what that looks like. I had to spend the last week moving from our ranch. We lived off grid and I don’t know how to do that on my own. I’m now 42 years old, living in my parents house and moving into my rv in their back yard. I have to come up with a new dream, a new job, a new direction. I’m having such a hard time dealing directly with the pain. I’m in turn it all off survival mode. I have tons of support- but I can be in a room full of people and ache with loneliness. I’m so tired and yet sleeping hurts because I see him, and he’s either dying or we are madly in love and I wake up empty. I’m so lost, yet focused. My mind is putting things together but my body isn’t cooperating. I will not be bitter: he was a treasure I got to keep for that time. I just feel like I was traveling a road in life that would take me to the end, and now am dealing with the fact the trail ended and I must go back and restart.

Hey friends,
I myself read these "what size fits me" threads every time and think, hey, try some on at the store. And here I am, and you guessed it: I would appreciate a tip on the right size.
The reason is simple, the closest store that carries a particular style of Barbour is too far away.
I have decided to go with the Beaufort model and I am vacillating between 46 and 48. I have several styles in C52 - that's because here in my area, I can usually just take the "biggest size" of each garment and it fits or is even slightly too small.
At 202cm and 135kg I'm certainly no hummingbird, but I'm not socially inept either.
Has anyone had any experience with this and can give me some advice?
I am aware that the arms will be too short, the Barbour Classic models are just like that...

Let's say there's a 9:00 am meeting. Some asks, "can we move this meeting up 30 minutes?". Would you expect the new meeting time to be 8:30 am or 9:30 am?
Similar question for "back" or "ahead" instead of "up". I find these words in this context very confusing. Am I the only one?

Found this skateboard in a canal on the street without a soul nearby that could be identified as the owner. I myself own a penny-like cruiser and was thinking about buying a bigger board, so i took the opportunity and took this abandoned skate in.
It doesn't have a grip tape, the wheels don't even resemble their original form and are cracked asf. It was obviously used for tricks for a long while.
I was planning to change it's trucks and wheels for a bigger ones, maybe i buy smaller ones to learn tricks. Should i keep the board?

It was a YA NOVEL probably published between 2000-2004, as I read it at least twice between 2004-2009. It had at least 1 sequel book, but I don't recall a third book. It kept on mentioning different perspectives of MITHRAS, something to do with Egyptology and ancient gods.
There were hieroglyphics in the illustrations of the front covedustjacket. The narrator of the novel only interjected HIS views or persoanl anecdotes maybe twice per chapter at most. So while the narrator provided the 1st person narrative sporadically, most of the novel was written from the 3rd person narrative (birds eye view).
