Sight seeing spots as I am visiting banf for the first time and will be driving AWD Subaru outback.

2024.11.25 10:58 CZchi Worried my phone has been compromised
So my O2 (UK mobile carrier) account recently got hacked, they were able to add a new number to it and ordered a new device, I managed to contact them straight away and they cancelled everything and I changed my password.
The thing that's worrying me is, my account was secured with MFA via SMS, and on the day I was hacked I got 2 SMS messages in quick succession with the MFA code (this is what raised the alarm for me)
I don't understand how they could've gotten into my account without access to my SMS messages, so I'm panicking slightly that someone has access to my phone remotely, or my SMSs are being intercepted somehow.
Is there anyway to protect myself from this?

2024.11.25 10:58 HenryOrient Recommended budget Xiaomi/Redmi please
I'm looking for a new phone for my girlfriend and don't have much money. In our family we've always gone for Xiaomi/Redmi/Poco and they're fine for what we need (I'm still on my Poco X3 Pro which suits me fine and daughter has a Note 12 which she loves).
As it's Black Friday there seem to be some offers on Xiaomi's website but it's so confusing with all the Note/Pro/C variations.
My budget is low so needs to be under £150. She only uses it for the basic stuff (YouTube/Audible/Whatsapp/banking etc) so doesn't need to be powerful. She's currently on a Redmi Note 9 which is still hobbling along but getting long in the tooth now.
Any suggestions please - first thing I saw was the Note 13 (£129) - anything better than that at this price point?

Dogs life was a game I played alot as a kid, and playing stray reminded me of it. Heavilyyy
In this game your a dog and your girlfriend gets kidnapped and you adventure after her through farm, town, city to free her.
It has similar puzzles, exploration and parkour to stray (scarily similar at times) even the way the camera changes such as when you jump in and out of clems apartment or like when ur trying to open the door to get to b21's body ans you jump up on the top shelf, theres shots scene for scene the same in dogs life.
Dogs life doesnt have the cyber punk, climate or class aspects and stray has much better graphics obviously but you should play dogs life if you liked the animal lead exploration and story rich gaming.
Dogs life is a much longer game as well, with more range in puzzles (more than just find and collect although there is that)

In a historic class action success against the state of Tasmania by child victims of Ashley's Youth Detention 'services', 170 plus victims of 60 years worth of child sexual abuse by Tasmanian prison staff was today compensated to the tune of $75 million to be divided amongst 159 claimant, former victims of this attrocity.
Personally, in the Winter of 2004 on the street at night in the CBD I met a young girl who'd been released from Ashley's that same day. She had been drugged, raped, robbed, stripped naked and left for dead under a blue tarp in a Hobart alleyway and approached me wrapped, freezing, in only that tarp.
Offering her some clothes and my flat to clean herself up in, I later overheard her talking on the phone to a friend, quite nonchalantly, about one of her fellow child prisoners being plied into having sex when a guard offered half a bottle of flat Coke for the experience.
This shocking statement was obviously common knoweldge amongst her peers as to what went on at Ashley's.
Today they congratulated themselves on moving at last to 'fix' the problem by throwing cash at it. But I believe something even more rottenly odd is going on.
Why, in the midst of all this triumph, did we hear no mention of the fate of the perpetrators? I think we ought to know!

And, (unless I very much missed it), I don't recall ever hearing a single peep from the Tasmanian department of public prosecutions regarding the perpetrators of these crimes being charged and brought to justice. Are they still working there? Free in the community to do who knows what to who knows who?
Why not? Who are they? Why are they not in front of the courts?

Since 3.23, I've seen a steady decline in PvP. I can't even find a game of AC, contrary to what CIG tells us. I'm on the biggest SC German discords and have seen a steady decline in enjoyment in PvP. Even the guys on the servers I played and practiced with play other games and say since MM it's just boring, so I have to ask where are the promised balancing changes for MM? Best is just to revert to the old model and tune that.
