2024.11.25 13:50 coopcooper87 Anybody else scared to use the "skip" function?

It seems like anytime I use the skip feature in career mode, it's a 50-50 chance it puts me in a terrible situation. Either the ATC fails to work and I can't acknowledge handoffs for landing and such, or like last night after landing a cargo flight - i skipped the taxiing back to parking and it loaded up flipping my plane, then says I crashed and I lost half a level of Reputation :(
Game is fun but stuff like this is making it semi-hard to enjoy the career mode lol.

I've been bored 'cause I've been playing so much with the Scandinavians and when I'm not doing that I'm playing as the Anglo-Saxons or Europeans so I decided to try something new and started a playthrough with arpad and became emperor of Carpathia and jazaria , I also got the achievement of almost there for converting to Christianity but then got bored .
I have also tried playing as Rostam in Persia to restore the Sassanids but I realized that without the legacy of Persia dlc (because I'm in console and I'm poor) it's kind of meh , you can't be following secretly Zoroastrianism and pretending to be ashari .
Also considered playing as the fox in 1066 but I'm afraid it won't be as good as a playthrough as starting in 867
Any interesting starts to play with ? That aren't vikings or European (also no india and Africa because they seem extremely boring with one being super poor and the other super rich)

Nothing hits better then when you’re asleep and dream that your chest hurts and arm is numb and you wake up in a panic. yup that’s my life right now and i can’t go back to sleep cuz it freaked me out so bad and im having a bad panic attack that’s mimicking my dream 🙃😅 anyone know why this possibly happens? i have GERD and i had a bad case of it all day so i wouldn’t be surprised if my GERD is causing all this lol.

2024.11.25 13:50 bxstxrd98 Super sprinters should be limited to rampage mode only

This and the boss zombie spam are probably my two biggest pet peeves about BO6 zombies.
In the higher rounds boss spam is the obvious one when it comes to how unmanageable any kind of training/hoarding becomes (the key strategy of zombies for over a decade btw) but the fact they add super sprinters means that while evading 4-6 mangler blasts and an abomination lazer you will almost certainly run into (and get hit by) 5-10 zombies and even an experienced player would struggle to get hit less. There seems to be no way to avoid this whatsoever.
Constantly replenishing your health is part of the new challenge BUT having to do it every 3 seconds with a red bloody screen and constantly getting hit leads to an incredibly unsatisfying and frustrating gameplay loop and that is more engaging than running around in a circle yes but 10x more difficult.
The difficulty in the older games at higher rounds wasn’t actually avoiding zombies, it was killing them. Giving the fact that most weapons that aren’t WWs or the ASG won’t really kill past 40 we have the same problem the old games have but with a new problem. More supplementary health to deal with this problem through armoaugments of course but the gameplay seems to suffer a lot because of it.
Remove super sprinters and the boss spam becomes more manageable, reduce the boss spam and you achieve a similar outcome - but with both as it stands high rounds are pretty ass

i've been keeping this for a while. so eto nga tinapat nila yung aquintance ng duty namin and if hindi raw kami sumama, magkakaroon kami ng make-up duty. kung pala ganon ang gusto nilang mangyari sana libre nalang ang aquintance since tinapat nila ng duty (RLE). pano naman kaming nagbabayad ang RLE, lugi na nga kami dahil laging walang pasok tapos irerequire pa nila kaming umattend ng aquintance?
sinunod sunod pa talaga nila yung bayarin, deadline ng smock gown and malapit na rin matapos ang semester sempre yung ibang hindi naman ganon kayaman kailangan pa magbayad ng natitirang balance. so bakit kailangan nilang i-mandatory to, buti sana kung affordable lang.
wala lang ang unfair sa part naming mga ginagapang lang ang pagaaral. sana naman maging considerate kayo.

Hi everyone.
I need laptop for work which is able to open multiple chrome tabs, simple vs code scripts, fine performance in excel and be able to handle a second monitor. My issue is my last HP with ryzen 9 is so buggy when multitasking so do you guys have any recommendations for a laptop that doesn't lag when doing simple multitasking mentioned above. Also I don't care for a laptop to be slim, dunno why is that even important to people. Price range 1000$-1500$.

2024.11.25 13:50 DrunkFox2 About bugged On the Edge quest

So i think I found out, what causing On the Edge problems, or at least problems for some:
Many people find NPC stucked in building without ability to get to them. That is propably caused by emission, forcing npc in but not letting them out, but there are ways how to get in by console, or by waiting long enough (about an 30 minutes to 1 hour) before NPCs need to respawn, or glitching through the doors, opening them.
But even after doing this quest, getting achievment of finishing it, There is another wave of enemies, and after killing them, you get message about saving the village, but after getting far, you will get message about village being dead, and coming back the village is dead.
The problem is, that the "second" enemy wave, shouldn!t happen. It actually is "first" wave at start of the quest, but as you didnt done it because bug at first, game starts the quest again. But as you already did all things after, you cannot progress this quest again, therefore the quest will both succeed and fail, but fail is latter, therefore "ingame real outcome"
I believe the way how to fix it, is simply not letting the quest starts anew, but as of now, I didnt found a way to do it. Running away is not enough, and there is no fast travel option. If you will find a way how to do it, please let me know. As many other people, i do not want to progress with my favourite location being wiped out.

This isn't gonna be a well written rant but I feel like it needs to be made, American politics are the worst thing to be interested in and unfortunately have wasted way to much time on. The first obvious thing that is wrong with them is the sudden division that has happened end in politics, like could you imagine for a second of a president that could apeal to both sides. I've recently saw Ronald Reagan's speech about the challenger, and while their are a lot of reasons to hate the dude, at the end of the day I believe that he wanted what was right for everyone, I believe that if we had presidents like truman, jfk, obama, and even reagan, I wouldn't be so sucked into politics because they aren't so extreme, I feel like they want what is best for everyone even if they didn't always convey this properly. Now I don't like all that these presidents have done, but at the end of the day, they were leaders, and a lot less contreversial than whatever the hell we have today. Today everything is so extreme, don't get me wrong I would much rather have a competent woman in office than a phsyco in office but now a days everyone is so far pushed into one political side it's essentially voting for someone's party above voting for the best candidate. I feel like everything, even liberal opinions that I largely agree with, is pushed into an extreme instead of trying to find common ground within both parties, isn't voting about the right people died for? cause to me it feels like people are dying in order to further divide our country, and I want to believe that it wasn't this way before the trump administration.
That's the other thing, political adicts are complete worshipers of a certain candidate, like I'm sure you're well aware about youtube comment sections with anything related to trump agreeing with everything he says like he's their cult leader, like I don't say that in a buzz word kind of way, if you can't accept that Donald Trump makes mistakes, than you are likely in a cult worshiping him, because every single maga thinks every decision made by trump is perfect, no matter what. This I believe also applies to liberals in a different way, now I'm a liberal but I also feel like I'm a lot less like some of the more extreme liberals on this platform. This is a flawed political belief system, for instance, I don't think that we've made the right decision on who should be president since obama was chosen, I don't think clinton was the right choice, after 4 years of biden I don't think he was the right choice, and I don't think kamala was the right choice either. At the end of the day, the fact that you can't find a candidate that can convince enough people to not vote for a convicted felon, than it's on you, you should be able to beat an 0 and 16 football team no matter how bad you are, and yet you still lost, that's really sad to me.
Anyways their really isn't a point to this rant aside from the fact that politics suck, like they are a long rabithole that isn't based upon facts and instead based upon previous beliefs, and this is a really crappy rant about it that doesn't show just how bad it is.
