Hey BreakUps Community,
I am writing this because lately I feel broken into pieces. I can't eat anything since 3 days and my day-to-day life currently feels completely empty and dreadful.
So I met a girl online 6 months ago, we were super close from day one and also met up quite quickly (sadly long distance, this will get relevant later), had very intimate moments together for a whole weekend. We both told us we have a crush on eachother after like 3 months. We literally called daily (because of long distance) for 4-8 hours, were gaming together, watched series and movies, laughed together, cried together while watching sad movies & talked about our problems and daily life every day.
Now 3 days ago, we had a conversation that we can't really build a fullfilling relationship as we live 6 hours apart from each other, both don't have a car and still in university. (I am 24, she is 21). I told her, if we go this way I can't stay in active contact with her for a long time as I need to fight my feelings for her, as she told me she does not want to lose me. She could not stand losing me in the long run. We both agreed on maybe trying to be super good friends when both healed from this "shock".
Since this day I feel completely empty inside, haven't and simply can't eat anything since I instantly start gagging if I just think about eating. Im in general not the most stable person mentally and have my problems (but I think not a real depression or something).
I also have jealousy issues because of my past relationship. So I told her, I could not stand seeing her to fall in love with someone else while I still love her (Maybe even at all?). But I don't want to lose her in the long run, she made my days so happy and always made me smile.
Nothing brings me joy currently, I can't study for university or work efficiently at all, everything feels just draining and so unbearable.
I know this is a lot of crying around and I should just try to be stronger but currently I could just lay in bed the whole day.
Thanks a lot if you are still with me to this point, that means a lot to me.

2024.11.25 13:19 S7R1DR [Help needed] Fan control on headless linux server
I just got myself an Intel Arc A380 for my home server that's going to be run a media server, self-hosted cloud store, etc. I am running the latest Debian (but I am open to switching distros, if justified).
My problem is that the GPU fans drive me nuts, as they keep spinning up and down constantly. I've observed that they speed up when the GPU temps exceed 30°C, and go down once it is lower. My idle temps are between 28-31°C.
I would like to set up a custom curve (or at least some temperature points and values) via a terminal. I've read up on multiple threads and saw that there are solutions available for NVIDIA or AMD GPUs, but haven't found anything close to a solution on Intel. Does anyone know about anything that might help me? Thank you in advance.

Last weekend I went to an event and I ended up getting extremely drunk at early time, I didn’t throw up but was rolling around on the floor and my friend had to take care of me as well as drive me back.
Obviously he is pissed off at me, every time him or his mate tried to help me I tried to run off, kill myself or lightly fight him for some reason. Every time him or his mate tried to help me I told them they were taking the piss out of me, None of this I remember. I have since apologised to him both.
I have a bad track record with alcohol and I don’t usually drink what steps can I take to avoiding alcohol all together and putting myself on the correct track. Furthermore this doesn’t help by the fact I have poor mental health and once I stop drinking I can’t stop myself. Usually I am a placid/ chilled person without drinking but once I start I can’t stop and I tend to act crazy.

Got this Pearl Forum for free off Marketplace. Restoration: - Cleaned and polished all hardware - Second Tom was actually converted to a floor tom so I patched the holes - Wrapped with self-adhesive vinyl - Gross inlay was removed on rims and replaced with white glossy vinyl - Found an extra floor tom shell and added to kit No use for it at this point so will probably sell.
