We all know the Bible math that lead up to 1914 is complete hogwash, however convincing a witness of that is nigh impossible. The thing is, we don't even need to dive into the Bible math rabbit hole to prove how ridiculous the concept of Bible math, let alone 1914, really is.
In 1914, according to JW theology, The Devil was cast down from heaven and sent to Earth. He then immediately caused WW1 to wreak havoc on the Earth and all humans. You've already lost me here. If us lowly humans were able to figure out this complex Bible math, who's to say The Devil, a higher dimensional being whom we can't even comprehend the existence of, couldn't? The Devil is canonically able to quote from scripture, so he would have known hundreds of years in advance that this was God's plan. He would have had hundreds of years to think "Hmm, maybe I'll go against the plan and prove God completely wrong and win!" But no, he did exactly what God wanted him to do.
Now there are three possible arguments to this.
- We figured out the Bible math first.
- Satan was scared of dying just like Peter was.
- God is omnipotent and is always right
- Completely arrogant to say we are smarter than a being beyond our comprehension.
- Peter was a human, and Satan knows his time wouldn't have come yet. And even if Satan was to die that day, Witnesses teach that he wants to take everyone down with him, which he could have easily done if he just didn't start WW1.
- So God was responsible for the millions of deaths in WW1 and Satan was just a pawn in his game.

I bought an item off Amazon and the payment went through as I can see the transaction on my banking app. I bought next day delivery but it's still not here. It doesn't even show up in my orders for some reason. Any advice on how to approach? I went on their customer service website and couldn't find the help I needed.

Hello, I'm a little confused. About a year ago, apparently the FDA changed all RYO tobacco to shag cut. I like shag cut and recently got into rolling. I bought some 3 sails and Ryback (Daughters & Ryan) and they are both shag cut. But then I bought some Two Timer and it was definitely not shag (see in picture). I guess what I'm wondering is...what brands/blends are shag cut like the 3 sails and why isn't my 2 timer not shag

Thank you so much for clicking this post. But here comes an essay.
I will start from what happened.
Around a decade ago, my father went abroad to the land of ladyboys. (I’m not posting names directly because he does have Reddit on his phone) It was an official trip for his company, he stayed in a rural area.
The following information is told by my dad himself to me, after all these years.
So in this office was this one young woman, who asked for my dads number during an office function and started to talk to him. Talking enough to pay 20k LKR per month as phone bill. (This a decade ago, when our currency is more powerful) She’s young, has babies on her own and she knows my dad is married. Even though, she accompanied him whenever my dad goes shopping to buy clothes for us and yes made him buy stuff for as well. Not only that, she went out for dinner with him, and even went far on bringing her mom to show my dad to her. My dad said she throws a tantrum like a baby whenever he’s coming back to our country, telling him to leave us (my family) and stay with her.
My dads even showed me her Facebook profile, and yes she was pretty, but when I scrolled down, she had posted cringy photos of her publicly wearing cheap shein clothing and doing very cheap poses. In short, you can see she’s one hell of a gold digger. She has even told herself that she had gone out with other Sri Lankans who visited the office earlier. So one day when he went out to shop with her, my dads phone accidentally dialed my moms number and my mom had picked it up. From my dad’s own words, he said that was the moment he was “caught”.
So my mom was devastated and left the house with us. So ever since my dad came back, our lives were so unpleasant, I never had a family life, my dad punched my mom on the face on one occasion when she had a verbal fight over this incident. My dad use to carry a knife in our car console, showing the blade to my little self at the time, telling that he’s carrying it to slit my mom’s throat if she ever comes to a verbal fight again.
My dad made a whole story up at the time and told it to everyone including me that it was a psycho woman who’s nickname is “darling” in the office and my mom misinterpreted it and made a whole story up just because she wanted to leave.
So after he told me what actually happened I was extremely broken and one day I was so mad and yelled at him for that. He tried to hit my head with a hammer and bent my wrists to the sides in an attempt to break my hands and permanently disable me.
He still blames my mother telling she’s the one who ruined our lives and sometimes threaten to kill her. Also he thinks that im bitter towards him because my mom brainwashed me. He acts as nothing has happened. In his world, he didn’t cheat and what happened was just a normal situation.
What should I do? Am I actually wrong? I’m actually scared of my mother and myself.
